UFC 5 Update 1.028 Patch Notes (Patch 1.28) – October 16, 2025

EA Sport has released a new UFC 5 update 1.028 on PS5(version 1.028.000), PC(1.28) and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official UFC 5 1.28 patch notes, the latest update adds Jasmine Jasudavicius, new vanity rewards, and key gameplay fixes improving takedown and ground interactions. Apart from this, the UFC 5 patch 1.028 also addresses several visual, audio, and stability issues.

General

  • New Fighter: Jasmine Jasudavicius has been added to the game.

  • Upcoming Content: Additional Alter Egos will be available soon.

  • New Vanity Rewards: A variety of new cosmetic items have been added for player customization.

Gameplay

  • Double Leg Fix: Resolved an issue preventing double leg takedowns from connecting when fighters were in different stances and the defender had their back to the cage.

  • Upkick Adjustment: Fixed an issue allowing fighters to perform upkicks while recovering from leg kicks on the ground.

  • Kick Exploit Fixed: Addressed an exploit allowing players to spam upkicks using the left shoulder button and kick inputs without performing grounded leg kicks.

Bugs

  • Visual Corrections: Fixed incorrect damage and blood appearance on certain CAF outfit types.

  • Kit Selection Fix: Resolved an issue where fighters’ kit choices were being overridden in specific game modes.

  • Crash Stability: Fixed several rare crash occurrences.

  • Audio Update: Updated outdated audio used during certain fighter walkout announcements.

Previously, a major update 1.003 added various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, players have been experiencing several server issues with the game. Today’s UFC 5 version 1.028.000 will fix a few of these issues. The upcoming UFC 5 patch 1.29 will include more tweaks and changes.
