Train Sim World 5 update 1.24 (1.024.000) details released for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One players. According to the official Train Sim World 5 version 1.24 patch notes, the update brings memory improvements, fixes for various routes and locos, and new features like Guard Mode for certain coaches. Apart from this, Train Sim World 5 patch 1.24 (1.024) also addresses UI crashes, AI train speed limits, and passenger issues.

Core
- Fixed a UI issue that was causing crashing during date/time selection.
- Reduced memory footprint for game sessions when using custom liveries
- AI trains should now adhere to speed limits.
- Various localisation improvements.
WCML South
- Reduced memory footprint for WCML South route toward improved title stability.
- Fixed lighting issues on the middle tracks outside of London Euston.
- Fixed an issue where passengers would fall onto tracks when using British stock.
- Fixed an issue preventing passengers from leaving the train.
- Fixed floating ‘S’ symbol above tracks at Class 710 stopping points.
- Doors will only show as ‘Open’ when they are open on 72 Stock.
- Applied correct braking to Class 350.
San Bernardino
- Fixed services 382/335/332 so they should now be completable.
- Fixed an issue where holiday-decorated Rotem cars were being added into the regular timetable services.
- Fixed an issue where the PIC on weekday and weekend Metrolink services incorrectly showed Pomona instead of LA or San Bernardino.
- Fixed an issue where MP36 would have a permanent traction lock when not connected to coaches.
- 2D map will now display correctly during the SB 377 service.
- Fixed passengers clipping through the loco during the ‘Holiday Train’ service.
Frankfurt Fulda
- Fixed an issue where service EZ-51825 incorrectly tried to use the turntable at Hanau.
- Fixed an issue with BR 111 suspension.
- Fixed an issue in guard mode where the train would drive off when blowing the whistle.
- Fixed an issue in guard mode where doors would not close after blowing the whistle.
FlixTrain Vectron
- Updated AFB to use a custom brake rate when LZB is active.
- Slightly reduced the offset AFB uses to brake for LZB restrictions, as it was too strong.
- Fixed issue preventing access to the external camera.
Peninsula Corridor
- Fixed an issue where gold medal could be achieved with 130% more AP than expected in the ‘Santa Clara Saviour’ scenario, even when speeding. Cheeky.
Kassel Wurzburg
- Removed a large hole in the interior ceiling of one of the DB BR 403 ICE 3 carriages.
- Fixed an issue preventing graphics from applying correctly in the livery editor.
- Updated shadows on tracks to match TSW5 spec.
Maintalbahn
- Fixed issue where paint and decals applied to the Main Roos-t wagon did not display.
Cajon Pass
- Fixed an issue where safety systems prevented Platinum Medals being given.
- Fixed an issue with pixellated edges to cab windows.
- Fixed issue where saving and resuming a game caused banking to stop working.
- Fixed issue where locomotive number boards did not light up.
New York Trenton
- Added guard mode for the Multi-Level Commuter Cab Car.
- Added touch button control to base for opening doors via touch button.
- Fixed an issue where the door pad on bi-level cars wasn’t functioning, preventing doors from opening.
- Fixed issue where Bi-Level Carriage passenger lights were not staying on.
Blackpool Branches
- Added Guard Mode to Class 142, Mk1 and Mk2 coaches.
Bremen Oldenburg
- Fixed an issue where all BR 425 coaches showed the same number.
Class 700
- Fixed issue where Class 700 wasn’t lighting passengers correctly at night.
BR 218
- Fixed HL needle to give a better clearer reading from steep angles.
Santa Fe F7
- Fixed an issue where the ‘Climb Aboard’ objective marker was incorrectly placed in the ‘Horn on the Fourth of July’ scenario.
Recently, the game was released with positive reviews. Unfortunately, since the last patch 1, players have been experiencing some issues with the game. Today’s TSW5 patch 1.19 will fix a few of these issues.
