Toxic Commando Update 1.007.100 (v2.0) Patch Notes | New Mission, Enemy, & Weapons

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando update 1.007.100 is now available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Toxic Commando update 2.0 patch notes, the latest update introduces the Urban Blight mission, the Hornet enemy, six new weapons, the Thrasher APC, dynamic HUB challenges, extensive customization options, cross-platform save transfers, and improved battle chatter. Todays Toxic Commando patch 1.007.100 also refines mission objectives and increases early-map enemy intensity.

New Mission: Urban Blight

  • Added the Urban Blight mission.
  • Players investigate a contaminated sludge leak in the ruins of Rockbridge.
  • Features urban combat across sewers, abandoned apartments, and complex city layouts.
  • Includes new weapons, vehicles, and equipment hidden throughout the mission.

New Enemy

  • Added the Hornet to all missions.
  • Flying enemy capable of firing projectiles and dodging attacks.
  • Can grab players, carry them into the air, and drop them from a fatal height.
  • Teammates must eliminate the Hornet before it reaches maximum altitude.

New Weapons

Primary Weapons
  • Salvo MGL – Burst-fire grenade launcher with delayed-fuse projectiles.
  • Heartstopper Carabine LAC – Modern lever-action rifle.
  • Precision BAR Gen 1 – Bolt-action sniper rifle.

Secondary Weapon
  • Thundershot OEP – Experimental energy pistol with powerful charged shots that consume the entire magazine.
Heavy Weapon
  • Obsidian OEP – Experimental beam weapon inspired by the enemy Blaster.
Melee Weapon
  • Sludgebane – Applies sludge contamination to the wielder and gains bonus damage when contamination reaches maximum.

New Vehicles

  • Added Thrasher APC to all missions.
  • Releases a destructive fire volley within a selected radius and can also damage teammates.
  • Added Forklift for Urban Blight cargo delivery objectives.
  • Forklift must be protected by teammates while moving.

Known Issues

  • GTX 1000 series Nvidia GPUs may experience a launch crash. A hotfix is planned.
  • In Urban Blight, the first steam geyser valve may become inaccessible if players advance too quickly.

Changes Since the PTS

  • Improved wording and clarity for the first quest and bonus equipment container objective.
  • Added 3D hints to mutated sludge for better quest readability.
  • Added extra notifications during the final canal falling cart sequence.
  • Increased enemy pressure throughout the first half of the map.

Previously, Toxic Commando day 1 update added quality of life changes and tweaks. Today’s Toxic Commando update 1.007.100 will address a few of these bugs. You can expect more fixes in the upcoming Toxic Commando patch 1.008.
