The Lords of the Ring Return to Moria update 1.002.005 is available on PC. According to the official Return to Moria patch notes, the latest update resolves save game errors specifically on the PS5 version of the game. Apart from this, today’s Return to Moria patch 1.002.005 also includes stability improvements.
Previously, a minor update added quality of life improvements. Today’s Return to Moria version 1.002.005 will fix a few of these issues.
Return to Moria version 1.2.1 Patch Notes – June 18, 2024
- Migration of Saves: The patch migrates old save data to a new location on the PlayStation’s drive to prevent large saves from becoming corrupted.
- Limit on World Saves: To further prevent issues, the patch limits the number of world saves a player can have to 40.
- Action Required: Players with more than 40 world saves are advised to delete unnecessary saves before updating to avoid data loss.
- Character Saves: Character saves are not affected by the migration, so no action is needed regarding them.
- Backup Recommendation: Players are encouraged to back up their saves before updating; migrated saves will be restored automatically from backups.
