TCM update 1.06 details released for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. Accroding to the official TCM 1.06 patch notes, the update adds several significant changes and fixes have been implemented to enhance the gaming experience. Apart from this, TCM patch 1.006 also addressed notable graphical issues on PC.
Unfortunetly, since the release, players are experiencing some issues with the game. Today’s TCM patch 1.006 will fix a few of these issues. The upcoming Texas Chain Saw Massacre patch 1.03 will fix the remaining issues.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (TCM) Patch Notes
- Added changes to enable cross play on all platforms.
- Added various backend stability fixes.
- Added server fixes in preparation for future patches.
- Other minor tweaks.
The following issues were fixed previously.
Fixed
PC Stuttering on Ultra Graphics Settings
- This fix resolves graphical issues when running the game on Ultra settings with appropriate hardware.
- It also fixes an issue causing FPS drops when attacking or grappling with opponents while running the game on Ultra settings with appropriate hardware.
Voice Chat Not Working in Lobbies for Party Members
- This fix addresses an issue where party members would lose voice chat functionality once in a lobby.
XP Progression
- This fix resolves a UI issue that incorrectly displayed rank-ups after every match, despite not gaining the required XP to do so.
- It also resolves inaccurate XP calculations and XP delays related to earning XP.
Various Crashes and Freezes
- This includes a fix for a PS4 crash related to unlocking trophies.
- It also includes a fix for high-level players experiencing a crash on the match results screen.
Changes
Key Rebinding
- Key rebinding has been added to the PC version of the game, allowing players to customize their keybindings.
Lobbies Will Now Launch with 6 Players
- Lobbies will now launch with six players, improving lobby stability, speed, and reducing the likelihood of incomplete lobbies.
- Leatherface is still required for a match.
Quick Match Menu
- Quick Match has been moved to the top of the menu options for quicker matchmaking into lobbies with more players.
PC Removed from Cross Play
- PC has been temporarily separated from the console player base in cross-play while anti-cheat tools and resources are improved.
Tuning
EAC and Anti Cheat Improvements
- Several improvements have been made to the anti-cheat and protection against cheats.
- Tracking and logging for cheat detection have been enhanced to support consistent future improvements.
