The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (TCM) Update 1.17 Patch Notes

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (TCM) update 1.17 (version 1.000.019) is rolling out on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. Accroding to the official TCM 1.17 patch notes, ‘Fired Up,’ ‘Scout,’ ‘Extra Drip,’ ‘Empowered,’ ‘Grappler,’ and ‘Fast Hands’ receive tuning, affecting stamina, movement, health regeneration, and more. Apart from this, TCM game update 1.17 also resolve issues with perk functionalities and interactions, ensuring smoother gameplay.

Unfortunately, since the last patch 1.02, players have been experiencing some issues with the game. Today’s TCM patch 1.019 will fix a few of these issues. The upcoming Texas Chain Saw Massacre game patch 1.17 will fix the remaining issues.

TCM game Patch Notes – April 30, 2024

Perk Adjustments:

  • ‘Fired Up’ perk:
    • Level 1: Reduced delay for stamina regeneration by 25% after running out of stamina.
    • Level 2: Reduced delay for stamina regeneration by 50% after running out of stamina.
    • Level 3: Reduced delay for stamina regeneration by 75% after running out of stamina.
  • ‘Scout’ perk:
    • Level 1: Movement speed increased by 5%, but stamina regeneration rate decreased by 20%.
    • Level 2: Movement speed increased by 10%, but stamina regeneration rate decreased by 15%.
    • Level 3: Movement speed increased by 15%, but stamina regeneration rate decreased by 10%.
  • ‘Extra Drip’ perk:
    • Level 1: Receive 1 HP for 8 seconds after using a health item.
    • Level 2: Receive 2 HP for 10 seconds after using a health item.
    • Level 3: Receive 3 HP for 12 seconds after using a health item.
  • ‘Empowered’ perk:
    • Level 1: Regain 50% of max stamina after surviving a close encounter.
    • Level 2: Regain 70% of max stamina after surviving a close encounter.
    • Level 3: Regain 90% of max stamina after surviving a close encounter.
  • ‘Grappler’ perk:
    • Level 1: Button taps during a close encounter are 10% more effective.
    • Level 2: Button taps during a close encounter are 20% more effective.
    • Level 3: Button taps during a close encounter are 30% more effective.
  • ‘Fast Hands’ perk:
    • Level 1: 25% more progress in lockpicking minigame when a Family member is within 10 meters.
    • Level 2: 50% more progress in lockpicking minigame when a Family member is within 10 meters.
    • Level 3: 75% more progress in lockpicking minigame when a Family member is within 10 meters.

Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved issue with ‘Fast Hands’ functionality related to lockpicking minigame.
  • Fixed ‘Rescue Medic’ perk interaction with Virginia’s ability tree.
  • Corrected ‘Medical Benefits’ perk interaction with Virginia’s ability tree.
  • Fixed activation issue for ‘Rough Cut’ perk and ‘Headstart’ perk.
  • Addressed perk inconsistencies with Cook’s locks and padlock visibility.
  • Fixed bone scrap consumption bug when stabbing Nugget.
  • Ensured Virginia’s localization consistency across languages.
