The Surge 2 PS4 update 1.09 released for players. According to the Surge 2 1.09 changelog, the latest update added the new update added support for Kraken expansion. The Kraken DLC and Premium Edition will be available on January 16 onto PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Season Pass owners can start playing on January 14. Apart from this, Surge 2 1.09 also includes some minor stability and performance improvements.

Kraken Expansion – Kraken will take place on the outskirts of Jericho City, at VBS Krakow on a massive aircraft carrier which has been transformed into a retreat for those who are rich and famous. Players will face robot pirates, dangerous security systems and a new boss all featuring unique combat mechanics.
