The Sims 4 update 2.16 is available to download on PS4, PC(1.116.202.1030), and Xbox One. According to the official Sims 4 2.16 patch notes, the latest update reverted recent performance optimizations to fix issues affecting gameplay. Pregnancy-related systems now work as they did before the July 1, 2025 patch. Apart from this, Sims 4 patch 2.16 also includes addresses console stability issues.

Pregnancy System:
Pregnancy functionality has been reverted to behave exactly as it did before the Base Game patch on 7/1/2025.
Previously, a major SIMS 4 update 2.05 added introduces a new Main Menu design, smoother performance, refreshed townie homes, and extensive bug fixes. Today’s Sims 4 version 2.16 will address a few of these issues.
