Main Menu Visual Refresh
  • Redesigned Main Menu with improved layout and clarity.
    • New Game / Resume Game moved to the left.
    • Navigation options reorganized (Home, Events, Store, Options panel).
    • Last-played household Sims displayed in the center.
    • Important updates highlighted on the right.
Upcoming Event
  • Blast from the Past Event starts February 4th:
    • Iconic rewards from the 2000s, including a milk carton, alarm clock, and inflatable furniture.

Performance and Memory Improvements

  • Smoother Gameplay: Optimized mouse movements for responsiveness across all platforms.
  • Improved Graphics: Enhanced rendering efficiency for Mac and PS4.
  • Memory Efficiency: Reduced crashes through better memory management.

Base Game Townie Home Refresh

  • Renovations in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs:

  • Eco Lifestyle: Roaches no longer persist in dumpsters after clearing.
  • High School Years: Notification badges respect silent mode settings.
  • Horse Ranch: Fixed issues with nectar wants.
  • Nifty Knitting: Knitting now counts toward Scouting activities.

Previously, a major SIMS 4 update 1.95 added new Neighborhood Stories for managing friendships and romances, adds curved pools and fountains, new game options for invites and breakups, and a Safe for Streaming music option. Today’s Sims 4 version 2.05 will address a few of these issues.
