The Sims 4 update 2.02 is available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Sims 4 2.02 patch notes, the latest update adds The Sims 4 “Life and Death” expansion with playable ghosts, the spooky world of Ravenwood, new careers, life events like funerals and wills, and a collection of themed CAS and Build/Buy items, enriching the life (and afterlife) of Sims. Apart from this, Sims 4 patch 2.02 also includes various bug fixes and tweaks.

New Gameplay Features
Playable Ghosts
- Sims can now continue as ghosts post-death, with full player control.
- Ghost Sims interact with living Sims and explore unique afterlife mechanics.
New World: Ravenwood
- “Ravenwood” offers a spooky setting perfect for gothic or mysterious Sims.
- World features themed lots, eerie landscapes, and Halloween-inspired ambiance.
New Careers
- Grim Reaper Career: Sims can now take on the role of the Grim Reaper, reaping souls and managing the afterlife.
- Undertaker Career: New career track with tasks focused on funeral planning and other end-of-life services.
Life and Death Events
- Bucket Lists: Sims can create and work through personal bucket lists with unique rewards upon completion.
- Funerals: Host and attend funerals for deceased Sims, adding a realistic closure event to the game.
- Wills and Inheritance: Create wills for Sims, dictating how assets will be passed on posthumously.
New Content
Create-a-Sim (CAS) Additions
- Gothic and funeral-themed outfits, accessories, and makeup for Sims.
- New hairstyles and jewelry designed to complement Ravenwood and the expansion’s themes.

Previously, a major SIMS 4 update 1.95 added new Neighborhood Stories for managing friendships and romances, adds curved pools and fountains, new game options for invites and breakups, and a Safe for Streaming music option. Today’s Sims 4 version 2.02 will address a few of these issues.
