The Sims 4 update 1.96 is available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Sims 4 1.96 patch notes, the latest update addresses issues with Sims’ mean behavior, inappropriate relationships, and adoption agency interactions. Apart from this, Sims 4 patch 1.96 also resolves interface bugs in Parenthood related to Character Values and stopped inappropriate phone calls from relatives in Lovestruck.

Behavior and Relationships
- Other Sims no longer exhibit mean behavior for no reason.
- Sims related to each other no longer form inappropriate relationships through Neighborhood Stories with “Romance Changes.”
Interactions
- “Call Adoption Agency” on the phone or computer now functions correctly.
Parenthood
Character Values
- The Simology panel no longer flashes for Child or Teen Sims who have maxed out their Character Values.
- Fixed unresponsive interface issues related to Character Values.
Lovestruck
Phone Calls
- Sims no longer receive inappropriate phone calls from relatives.
Previously, a major SIMS 4 update 1.95 added new Neighborhood Stories for managing friendships and romances, adds curved pools and fountains, new game options for invites and breakups, and a Safe for Streaming music option. Today’s Sims 4 version 1.96 will address a few of these issues.
