Liquidate the Union

  • New Trial added focused on breaking labor resistance.

  • Objective: Eliminate unionized workers and restart production.


New MK-Challenges

Spread the Disease

  • Objective: Infect others to complete the Trial.

Cook the Informant

  • Objective: Kill the informant using a microwave to fulfill the challenge.


New Deluxe Catalog

Project Relapse

  • 10 pages of exclusive cosmetics.

  • Unlock using Murkoff Coins earned from completing catalogs.

  • Items can be unlocked at your own pace.

  • Collect Stamps via Trials and Tasks to redeem rewards.


New Enemy: The Jaeger

  • A new lethal enemy added to Trials.

  • Targets a specific player (Reagent) and relentlessly pursues them until death.

  • Guided via remote instructions, never stops chasing.


Limited-Time Event: Jaeger Onboarding

  • Two-part live testing event for the new Jaeger enemy:

    • Part 1: April 22 – May 6

    • Part 2: May 6 – May 20

  • Variator: “JAEGER” adds Jaeger to every Trial during the event.


New Mode: Trial Maker

  • Players can now build and save up to 10 custom Trials.

  • Combine Trials, MK-Challenges, and Variators.

  • Name creations and share using unique Trial Codes.

  • Play friend’s Trials in the same Sleep Room or via code.


New Feature: Relapse Initiative

  • Available upon reaching Therapy Level 99.

  • Resets progress in exchange for:

    • Permanent unlocks

    • Prestige rewards (Relapse Plaque)

    • Cosmetic and stat retention

  • Reagents can opt in via the Evaluation Corridor.


Player Progression Adjustments

  • New max Therapy Level: 99

  • Amps now unlock in batches at level milestones.

  • XP system updated:

    • XP now scales with performance and grade.

    • Trial and MK-Challenge XP tweaked for balance.


Save Game in Escalation Therapy

  • Players can now save and return to Escalation runs.

  • One save per player, overwritten on new start.

  • Teams resume with the same loadout and progression.

Nudity Filter

  • Optional visual filter to hide explicit content.

Join Trials In Progress

  • Join friends’ ongoing Trials through Social Menu.

Additional Fixes and Additions

  • Enhanced imposter behaviors (now mimic players more effectively).

  • Enemies can now pull players through garage doors.

  • All cell posters renamed.

  • Reborns program suspended; Reborn counter hidden.

  • Amelia now displayed in Sleep Room.

  • New tutorial screens for Relapse Initiative and Progression.

added quality of life changes and fixes. Unfortunately, since the release, some players are reporting issues, bugs and error codes. Today’s The Outlast Trials patch 1.25 will address all these issues.
