The Outlast Trials update 1.000.051 is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox. According to the official Outlast Trials patch notes, the latest update focuses on stability, gameplay reliability, and early progression balance. Several blocking issues with enemies, abilities, and equipment were corrected, while new Trials received temporary protection from Invasions to improve player onboarding. Hotfix Summary
- Resolved a major spawn issue causing the Berserker to appear beneath the map.
- Corrected multiple Barricade problems, including doorway blocking and cooldown timing.
- Adjusted X-Ray ability timing on higher difficulty to match intended balance.
- Fixed an exploit where Healing Rigs were not consumed under specific conditions.
- Temporarily disabled Invasions in newly introduced Trials for a smoother start ⚙️
Bug Fixes
- Corrected an issue causing the Berserker to spawn below the level in certain scenarios.
- Resolved a problem where Barricades could permanently seal doorways if deployment was interrupted during enemy attacks.
- Adjusted Barricade interruption cooldown from 10 seconds to the intended 3 seconds.
- Fixed Barricade functionality when used with the Limited Rigs modifier.
- Corrected X-Ray cooldown values on Psychosurgery difficulty.
- Removed visual clipping where parts of Deluxe Outfits appeared in first-person view.
- Fixed an issue where the Healing Rig was not consumed if swapped while active when using the Salvage Rigs modifier.
Gameplay and System Updates
- Updated the Tinnitus audio filter setting; it now functions as designed, allowing players to fine-tune sound clarity 🔊
- The [REDACTED] Trial will remain available in Genesis on a permanent basis.
- Invasions are temporarily disabled in the new Trials: “Silence the Idol”, “Solve the Murder”, and “REDACTED”.
- Invasions will return to these Trials in a future update once onboarding stability is confirmed.
Previously, the Outlast trials update 1.28 introduced the high-intensity PRIME TIME event, new MK-Challenges, a complete Genesis Program revamp, and a streamlined matchmaking system. Unfortunately, since the release, some players are reporting issues, bugs and error codes. Today’s The Outlast Trials patch 1.53 will address all these issues.
