Story Mode Completion

Crash Fixes

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when moving between Regions while using a Travois on PlayStation systems.
  • Addressed a crash triggered by dropping gear near open water on PlayStation 4.
  • Corrected an endless loading screen problem when starting the game on PC and Xbox App.

Known Issues

  • Entering a Trailer during the SAR mission can trap the player inside; loading an earlier save is required to continue.
  • Story saves created before 2023 will not appear in the Episode Five version and remain accessible only through the Episode 1–4 version.
  • Opening the Journal after loading the autosave following the Atwood cinematic can cause a repeat crash on PlayStation.
  • Jace’s dream cinematic may play without visuals on PlayStation 4 if the game is not restarted from the beginning of Episode Five.

Since the last major update 2.22, players have been experiencing multiple issues and bugs Hopefully, today’s The Long Dark version 2.053 will address some of these issues and bugs.
