The Last Of Us Part 1 update 2.000 is now available to download on PS5. According to the Last Of Us Part 2.000 patch notes, the latest update added support for PlayStation 5 Pro. Apart from this, The Last Of Us patch 2.000 (1.002.000) also introduces Pro Mode with 4K upscaling and 60 fps, along with key bug fixes for gameplay and accessibility improvements.

New Features
- Pro Mode with PlayStation® Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR):
- New “Pro” mode renders at 1440p, upscaling to 4K using PSSR, targeting 60 fps.*
- Performance and Fidelity modes still available with smoother experiences than the original PS5.
*Enhanced features require a compatible display with PlayStation 5 Pro.
General Fixes
- New Game+ Fix: Resolved issue preventing New Game+ from applying with Chapter Select.
- Artifact Collection Fix: Addressed desync issues between Artifact collection and Save Data, preventing trophy acquisition.
- 40 fps Lock Fix: Resolved issue causing the game to lock at 40 fps on boot with a 4K VRR monitor.
Gameplay Fixes
- Swimming Controls Fix: Fixed rebinding conflicts that made quick swimming impossible.
- Speedrun Timer Fix: Corrected issue where speedrun timer reverted to the latest checkpoint after quitting or crashing.
- Bill’s Town: Fixed issue where Ellie and Bill wouldn’t follow the player.
- Lakeside Resort: Improved Ellie’s accuracy with the hunting rifle while crouched.
- The University: Resolved issue with the library generator affecting progression.
- Bus Depot: Fixed bug causing Joel’s flashlight to turn on in direct sunlight when inspecting artifacts.
Accessibility Improvements
- Extended Console Accessibility Support: Additional PlayStation 5 console Accessibility settings are now reflected in-game.
- Pittsburgh: Fixed issue where a generator could be pinged in ‘Enhanced Listening Mode’ prematurely.
- Tommy’s Dam: Resolved missing hand-wheel prompt in New Game+.
- Left Behind – Back in a Flash: Fixed unintentional disabling of Navigation Assistance.
