The Last of Us 2 Remastered update 1.002 is rolling out on PS5. According to TLOU2 Remastered 1.002 patch notes, the latest update addresses issues with trophies, stats, gameplay, and audio, and enhances accessibility features. Apart from this, The Last of Us 2 version 1.002 also adds new rendering modes for PS5 Pro for better performance.

General Fixes
- Resolved issue preventing trophies from unlocking after PS4 save data imports.
- Fixed bug where Abby’s torso could disappear when switching bonus skins.
Gameplay Fixes
- [The Tunnels]: Fixed issue where Dina could be grabbed again while escaping in the subway.
- No Return:
- Resolved stun bomb usage not counting toward “Stun” stats.
- Fixed stealth kills interrupting accurate tracking of weapon kill stats.
- Resolved shiv kills not counting toward “Shiv” stats.
Audio Fixes
- [On Foot]: Fixed music tracks not progressing correctly during speedruns.
Accessibility Updates
- Additional support added to reflect more PlayStation 5 Accessibility settings in-game.
- [The Tunnels]: Fixed Enhanced Listen Mode failing to locate the code for the locked room.
- [No Return]: Resolved issue where enemies specified by a Gambit weren’t identified in High Contrast Mode.
Localization Fixes
- Minor fixes across multiple languages.
PS5 Pro Enhancements
- New rendering mode utilizing PlayStation® Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR).
- Pro Mode now renders at 1440p, with upscaling to 4K and a target of 60 fps.
- Performance and Fidelity rendering modes continue to provide smoother experiences and higher framerates.
Recently, the TLOU2 Remastered version 1.000.040 was released on PlayStation 5 with minor fixes. The upcoming TLOU 2 Remastered update 1.002.000 will address a few of remaining issues.
