The First Descendant update 1.54 (1.2.8) is available to download on PS4, PS5(1.054) PC and Xbox. According to the official The First Descendant 1.054 patch notes, the latest update enhances loot rewards, rebalances enemy spawns, improves firearms & modules, and adds new UI customization options. Apart from this, today’s TFD patch 1.54 also addresses visual effects, weapons, and event rewards.

Summary of Major Changes:
- Increased the number of Ultimate and Hunter Tier External Components obtained in battles.
- Adjusted enemy spawn rates in Void Erosion Purge for balance.
- Improved firearm mechanics and adjusted module attributes.

Content Improvements
Void Intercept Battle & Void Vessel
- Colossi in Hard Difficulty now drop 8 Ultimate Tier External Components (up from 2).
- Named Targets in Void Vessel now drop 8 Hunter External Components (up from 1).
- Completing 400% Infiltration Operation Mission grants 4 sets of Ultimate Tier External Components.
Void Erosion Purge (Stage 28/29)
- Passage Range: Abomination monster spawn rate reduced from 25% to 10%.
- Battle Range: Abomination monsters have been completely removed.
Weapons & Modules
- Fixed an issue where the “Restored Relic” Cluster Round visual effects blocked player vision.
- Firearms Attribute ATK now scales with Weak Point Damage on successful hits.
- Adjusted values and groups for Descendant & Firearm Ultimate Modules.
External Components
- Set effects and values of six types of External Components have been adjusted.
UI & UX Improvements
- In the Shop, the Paint sub-category will now display first under Common Cosmetic Items/Attachments.
New Gameplay Options
- Option to disable explosive effects for all players.
- Option to hide other players’ titles.
- Option to hide personal damage values on the screen.
- Expanded settings:
- Handguns can now be added to “Hide Weapon on Back” option.
- Fellow Names can now be added to “Hide Nickname” option.
- Consumable items already at max capacity will now display their name when found in the field.

- Fixed an issue where the Commander spawned incorrectly in Void Erosion Purge (Stage 21/24/27).
Descendants
- Keelan, Ultimate Freyna, and Ultimate Sharen: Fixed incorrect Gold Gain amount on dismissal.
- Hailey: Fixed an issue where Cryogenic visual effects persisted after expiration.
Weapons & Modules
- Corrected The Last Dagger’s Unique Ability description.
- Fixed “Ancient Fire” effect incorrectly applying to “Restored Relic” Cluster Round.
- Cooldown of “Continuous Exaltation” Module now applies correctly.
UI & UX Fixes
- Fixed an issue preventing mission restarts from the results screen.
- Paint item quantity now displays correctly in the Purchase Confirm pop-up.
- “Show Only My Fellow” setting now correctly displays the player’s Fellow.
Event Adjustments
- Kate’s Experiment Assistant Daily Operation (30 completions) reward changed. Check the Event Info Page for details.
Miscellaneous Fixes
- Adjusted color brightness of Ines’s default body skin.
- Fixed dye slot color issues on Ines’s Oasis Body Skin.
- Fixed eye placement issue with Luna’s Noise Surge Module.
- Fixed hair movement issue on Valby’s Oasis Party Head Skin.
- Auto-pickup now prioritizes available consumables when max capacity is reached.
- Fellow Dismantle function no longer fails randomly.
- Cooldown display fixed for Distorted Resolve External Component’s 4-piece set effect.
