The First Descendant update 1.32 (1.1.9) is rolling out on PS4, PS5(1.032) PC and Xbox. According to the official The First Descendant 1.32 patch notes, the latest update enhances gameplay with expanded hitboxes, rebalanced explosive damage, and direct access to Special Operations. Apart from this, today’s TFD patch 1.32 (v1.1.9) also includes stability fixes.

Gameplay Adjustments
Death Stalker Weak Point Hitbox Expansion
- Increased hitbox size for:
- Core, Core Cover, Rear Core, Rear Core Cover, and Sensor by 20%–50%.
- Improves weak point targeting and Grappling Hook effectiveness.
Explosive Damage Formula Update
- Explosive damage now accounts for a percentage of both HP and Shield, instead of just HP.
Operations Enhancements
Special Operations
- Now accessible directly from the map, similar to Infiltration Operations.

- Duration: November 20, 2024 (post-hotfix, PST) to December 4, 2024 (pre-maintenance).
- Objective: Complete challenges to earn exclusive event rewards.

- Blair – “Deadly Cuisine”:
- Fixed a display issue with Small Fireball damage when the Backdraft Skill Module was equipped.
- Damage now properly scales with skill levels.
- Freyna – “Venom Trauma”:
- Resolved a damage miscalculation at Level 2 when using the Contagion Skill Module.
- Damage values now display correctly.
UI/UX
- Resolved missing notification when blocking additional players with a full Block List.
- Fixed incorrect quest icons appearing on non-target NPCs during certain Descendant quests.
