The First Descendant Update 1.124 Patch Notes (v1.3.27)

The First Descendant update 1.124 (v1.3.27) is available to download on PS5 PC and Xbox. According to the First Descendant 1.124.000 patch notes, the latest update removes the Onslaught Mode beta and cleans up all related systems while introducing the Dice Run event and new store items.

Apart from this, today’s TFD patch 1.124 also improves matchmaking reliability, a Battle Pass challenge has been adjusted for accessibility, and several gameplay and UI issues affecting missions and enemy mechanics have been resolved.

Update Highlights

• Onslaught Mode beta has concluded, and all related access points and tags have been removed.

Onslaught Mode Beta Closure

• Onslaught Mode beta period has officially ended.
• Entry button has been removed from Tactical Transport Control.
• World Map shortcut button for Onslaught Mode has been removed.
• Button may still appear without the 1.3.27 update but will not allow mission entry.
• Removed Social Tags:
  • Onslaught Mode: Stage 1
  • Onslaught Mode: Stage 2

• Removed Onslaught Mode references from Accelerate Research.
• Removed Onslaught Mode from Weekly Content on the Descendant Mission Board.

Shops

• New purchasable products have been added to the store.
• First product group became available starting April 29, 2026.
• Additional product group will become available starting May 7, 2026.

Events

• New event “Esiemo’s Dice Run” has been introduced.
• Dice earned from event missions can be used to move across spaces and receive rewards.
• Rewards are delivered directly to inventory after landing on spaces.
• Extra completion rewards are granted after finishing a full run.
• Event duration runs from April 29, 2026 to May 20, 2026.

Content Improvements

• Battle Pass Week 12 challenge has been updated:
  • Previous: Defeat enemies in Onslaught Mode
  • New: Defeat enemies in Sigma Sector
• Completed challenges remain credited and will not reset.
• Viessa and Ultimate Viessa passive skill “Ice Sphere” no longer regenerates while attacking on vehicles.
• Explosion visuals for the “Exterminator” weapon have been enhanced.
• Recommended Party system now shows more available groups when tags are applied.
• Quick Join matchmaking success rate has been increased when tags are used.

Bug Fixes

• Resolved an issue where interactions could fail while moving during the Axion Plains Technical Research Institute mission.
• Fixed an issue where the weak point of Commander Sculptor could sometimes not be destroyed in the Legion Laboratory operation.
• Corrected a problem where the search bar failed to reset when switching Research tabs or exiting the Research screen.

Recently, a major The First Descendant update 1.112 resolved various issues including a bug where party members cannot join mid-session. Unfortunately, players have been facing various server issues with the game. Today’s TFD patch 1.124 will address a few of these errors.
