Additional External Component Cores

– “External Component Cores” that enhance the performances of External Components have been added.

– External Components of “Ultimate” Tier or higher have theirs Core unlocked and do not require Core Unlocking.

– You may equip External Component Cores by using Albion’s “Core Crafting Bench” once reaching Mastery Rank 8.

– Crafting and conversion of existing Cores are not available at “Core Crafting Bench” once you reach Mastery Rank 8.

– All External Components have two Core Slots and each of them have assigned Augment Types.

ㄴ You can only equip a Core Slot with the same Augment type of External Component Core Items, and options are granted once it’s equipped.

– Options for each External Component Core Augment type are as follows:

Augment Type Core Grantable Options
Recovery Augmentation Recovery Augmentation Core Max HP
HP Recovery Modifier
Recovery Augmentation Core (Variant AB) Max Shield
Shield Recovery Out of Combat
Shield Recovery In Combat
Defense Augmentation DEF Augmentation Core DEF
Fire Resistance
Chill Resistance
DEF Augmentation Core (Variant AB) DEF
Electric Resistance
Toxin Resistance

– External Components of Ultimate tier of higher can equip External Component Cores.

ㄴ When an External Component Core is equipped, a random option is granted per the Augment type.

– External Component Core items have stages, marked with Roman numerals (e.g., I, II, III, etc.). The higher the stage, the better the option effect values they provide.

ㄴ Each option has a fixed value range based on the External Component Core item’s stage, and the final value is randomly determined within that range.

– An External Component Core that is equipped to a Core Slot may be replaced with another one.

ㄴ To change an External Component Core, a “Core Particle Disruptor” item is required, just as for a Weapon Core.

ㄴ When replacing an External Component Core, you may choose from the existing effects and the new effects. If you do not like the new effects, choose to keep the existing one.

ㄴ If you decide to keep the existing effects, the External Component Core and Core Particle Disruptor spent for the replacement are not returned.

– You may craft External Component Cores at a Core Crafting Bench.

ㄴ To craft an External Component Core, a “Core Amplifier” is needed, just as for a Weapon Core.

– You may convert External Component Cores at a Core Crafting Bench.

ㄴ You may convert Stage 10 External Component Cores, just as for Weapon Cores.

– External Component Core items can be acquired from the “400% Infiltration Operation” and “Sigma Sector Dropoff Operation.”

ㄴ Sigma Sector Dropoff Operation Normal Stage 1-8

ㄴ Infiltration Operation: Hard 400% Stage 2-10

ㄴ Sigma Sector Dropoff Operation High-risk Stage 3-10

Additional Weapon Core

– “Hit Augmentation Core (Variant AB)” that can be equipped to a Weapon’s Hit Augmentation Slot has been added.

– You can choose to equip or replace the existing “Hit Augmentation Core” or the new “Hit Augmentation Core (Variant AB)” to the Hit Augmentation Slot.

ㄴ You can replace an existing Core equipped to a slot with a “Hit Augmentation Core (Variant AB),” and vice versa.

– “Hit Augmentation Core (Variant AB)” can be crafted and converted.

Augment Type Core Grantable Options

Multi-Hit Chance

– Hit Augmentation Core (Variant AB) can be acquired from Void Erosion Purge, just as other Weapon Cores.

ㄴ Hit Augmentation Cores (Variant AB) with different Stages have been added to Mission Completion Rewards.

ㄴ The chance to acquire the existing Weapon Cores by defeating Normal/Commander monsters remains unchanged. You can now acquire Hit Augmentation Cores (Variant AB) additionally.

ㄴ As for Void Erosion Purge: Challenge Difficulty, Hit Augmentation Core (Variant AB) was not added as its reward as many Descendants have already acquired rewards.
