The First Descendant update 1.025 (version 1.025.000) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official The First Descendant 1.025 patch notes, the latest TFD update 1.025 adds Ultimate Freyna with powerful skill modules and a new questline. The Death Stalker battle offers new set rewards, and 400% score multipliers are now available for Infiltration Operations. Apart from this, today’s The First Descendant patch 1.025 also includes Halloween-themed cosmetics and events.

New Descendant: Ultimate Freyna
Ultimate Freyna added.
Unlocks Freyna’s character quest.
Completing the quest rewards the Old Wounds chest attachment.
Ultimate Freyna Skill Modules:
Toxic Mixture: Replaces Contagion Links. Increases Firearm ATK and Critical Hit Rate when enemies gain Necrosis stacks.
Venom Injection: Changes Defense Mechanism. Recovers Shield and boosts Skill Power Modifier while reducing enemy Toxin Resistance.
Amorphous Materials
Amorphous Material Patterns 012, 039, 046, 054, 063, 067, 079, 083, 097, 100, 119, 127 no longer acquirable.
Added “AB variants” of these patterns for Ultimate Freyna’s Enhanced Cells, Stabilizers, and Spiral Catalysts.
New Modules
Hailey Skill Modules:
Supercooled Kuiper Round: Reduces Firearm ATK and Fire Rate, boosts Weak Point Damage.
Cryogenic Cluster Shot: Inflicts AoE damage on nearby enemies when attacking Cryogenic-inflicted targets.
New Ultimate and Rare Modules added to enhance Skill Power and Firearm ATK.
Death Stalker Battle
New Hard Difficulty Void Intercept Battle: Death Stalker.
Invader Set: Increases Max Shield and boosts Skill Duration and Skill Power Modifiers.
New Ultimate Weapon: Frost Watcher
Frost Watcher weapon added.
Critical Hits from a distance grant Cold Surveillance and Subzero Sensation effects.
Effects reduce enemy Chill Resistance and increase Chill Skill Power.

1. Recruitment and Party Formation
Added a <Recruit> tab to the chat to post recruitment or applications for parties.
2. Named Monsters Immunity
Changed the immunity mechanics of specific Named Monsters:
Sigvore: Destroying all summoned Toxic explosives removes its immunity.
Seudo: Destroying summoned turrets removes its immunity.
Torisar: Destroying summoned clones removes its immunity.
3. Intercept Battles
Colossi no longer stray far from the battlefield during Intercept Battles.
4. Additional Camps
Added more makeshift camps to the Shipment Base, Hatchery, and Mountaintops in the White-night Gulch.
5. Void Fusion Reactor
Changed the location of the Void Fusion Reactor in the Hatchery in White-night Gulch.
6. Mission Abort Conditions
Mission Abort: Condition to return to camp increased from 2 to 4 aborted missions.
7. Infiltration Operations EXP
Increased Firearm Proficiency EXP rewards in Infiltration Operations.

Players now revive with 100% Shield from DBNO (waiting to revive) state.
10. Private Operation Improvements
3 seconds to cancel the start of a Private Operation after initiating it.
11. Restart Button Added
Added a Restart button to the HUD for quick restarts in Intercept Battles, Infiltration Operations, and Special Operations.
12. Infiltration Operation Changes
Deleted the underused 150% mechanic in Infiltration Operations.
Descendant Updates
1. Freyna Stabilizers
Changed the missions that drop Freyna Stabilizers.
2. Freyna Skill Improvements
Freyna now inflicts Toxic Reaction, Panic, Despair, Decay, or Nightmare with specific skills when applying Room 0 Trauma.
Plague Bodyarmor Effect from Freyna’s skills now renews when using Defense Mechanism or Toxic Stimulation again.
3. Kyle Skill Adjustments
Improved Kyle’s Repulsion Dash and Collision Instinct to hit environmental objects like gas cylinders.
4. Esiemo Skill Adjustments
Esiemo can now use Time Bomb while shooting a firearm or using other skills.
UI/UX Improvements
1. Quest NPC Location Display
NPC locations now displayed during certain quests.
2. Infiltration Operation Targets
Maximum target score for each Infiltration Operation is now displayed correctly.
3. Invasion Dungeon Reward Text
Invasion Dungeon Info now shows “Minimum Acquired” for the number of main rewards.
4. Research List Updates
Improved to show enhancement levels for Unique Abilities of owned weapons and display owned indicators for Descendant Research.

Shows Owned Weapons in lower-level research.

1. Reactor Farming
Reactors added to Hard difficulty field missions. Players can now farm Reactors with specific attributes and Arche based on the battlefield.
2. Colossi Adjustments
Roly-poly and Kingfisher summoned by Colossi in Intercept Battles use melee attacks less frequently.
3. Intercept Battle: Gluttony
Gluttony’s HP and ATK reduced.
Impurity now further reduces the wipe attack gauge and explosion no longer applies the Ice effect.
4. Equipment & Storage Expansion
Equipment Inventory and Storage Slots expansion limit increased from 1,000 to 1,200.
5. Visual and Icon Changes
Updated images for Valby’s Bubble Boogie spray, Hailey’s Sniper spray, and Echo Swamp map.

Bug Fixes

Resolved movement issues in regions like Kingston, Hagios, and The Fortress.
Fixed Sterile Land Invasion event bugs.
Players can no longer leave starting areas via Mid-Air Maneuvering in Intercept Battles.
Encrypted Vault minigame now fails if you die during it.
2. Descendant Fixes
Fixed location-based skills being used on out-of-bounds terrain.
Fixed various issues with Esiemo’s Guided Landmine, Freyna’s Room 0 Trauma, and other Descendant skills and animations.

Decimator and Lethal Infection modules now activate correctly.

Fixed map marker issues in Bunny’s Descendant quest.

Previously, The First Descendant update 1.023 added quality of life changes and gameplay improvements. Unfortunetly, since the last patch, players have been facing various server issues with the game. Today’s The First Descendant patch 1.025 will address a few of these errors.
