According to the official The First Descendant 1.017 patch notes, the latest TFD update 1.017 (season 1) introduces Karel’s new weapon, Hailey Scott as a new Descendant, Inversion Reinforcer abilities, and challenging content including the Death Stalker battle and highest difficulty Infiltration Operations. New Tactical Weapon
- Karel’s Revenge: A new tactical weapon, created from Ancestors’ technology, now empowers the Vulgus legion against the Descendants.

- Hailey Scott:
- Role: Former guerilla unit supply soldier turned legendary sniper.
- Abilities: Uses an anti-materiel Sniper Cannon and can emit Chill by lowering her body temperature.
- Personality: Admires Viessa, a master of Chill manipulation, and enjoys creating snow crystals for children.
Inversion Reinforcer for Season Progression
- New Abilities: Descendants can now gain powers from Inversion Reinforcers, categorized as:
- Hunt: Boosts basic stats.
- Attribute: Enhances Attribute Resistance.

- Survival: Provides a conditional defense buff.

Freyna’s Awakening

- Type: Assault Rifle.
