The Finals Update 1.000.033 Patch Notes (Patch 2.10.4)

The Finals version 1.000.033 (2.10.4) is now available to download on PC, PS5 and Xbox players. According to the official The Finals 2.10.4 patch notes, the latest update enhances gameplay by fixing aim assist tracking issues and UI bugs, including persistent enemy health bars and contract tracking errors. It also reverts changes to directional weapon binding for controllers and corrects account restriction messages. Additionally, The Finals patch 1.000.033 also fixed an exploit allowing certain weapons to fire at unintended rates has been removed.

A major update 1.8 was released recently, that added new changes, gameplay adjustments, and more. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been experiencing issues with the game. Today’s The Finals update 1.000.033 will fix a few of these issues. The upcoming The Finals patch 3.0 will address the remaining issues.

Gameplay

  • Fixed Aim Assist: Resolved an issue to prevent aim assist from tracking enemy contestants through objects such as walls and terrain.
  • Directional Weapon Binding: Reverted a previous change that removed directional weapon binding for controller users.
  • UI Improvements:
    • Fixed enemy health bars persisting on the screen longer than intended.
    • Health bars are now no longer visible through walls or terrain.
  • Contract Tracking: Addressed an issue where players were unable to track contracts in rookie, challenger, pro, and master circuits.
  • Account Restrictions: Corrected the incorrect message displayed when an account is restricted from playing.

Weapons

  • Animation Canceling Exploit: Removed an exploit where animation canceling allowed certain weapons, such as FAMAS, Throwing Knives, and R93, to be fired at a much higher rate than intended.
