The Finals update 1.000.024 is now available to download on PC, PS5 and Xbox players. According to the official The Finals 2.3 patch notes, the latest update introduces the first Discord Quest, allowing players to earn the Skill Issue Set by streaming gameplay to a friend on Discord for 15 minutes. It also includes updates to ranked progression indicators and various balancing adjustments. Apart from this, today’s The Finals patch 2.3 also includes stability fixes.
A major update 1.8 was released recently, that added new changes, gameplay adjustments, and more. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been experiencing issues with the game. Today’s The Finals version 1.000.024 will fix a few of these issues. The upcoming The Finals patch 2.4 will address the remaining issues.

Ranked Progression Indicator
- Added the first version of the ranked progression indicator.
- Shows how you move up and down in rank after each ranked tournament.
Balancing
- FAMAS
- Increased recoil curve recovery delay from 0.68 to 0.8.
- Increased recoil recovery time from 0.8 to 1.
- Dev note: These changes delay automatic recoil recovery slightly after firing, addressing issues with different recoil patterns based on firing speed.
Modes
- Power Shift
- Added SYS$HORIZON to the map pool.
- Enabled a new HUD.
- The platform now deals damage to squished players to fix being pushed through the ground when trapped.
UI Fixes
- Fixed a bug swapping the revive tab and respawn coins in the scoreboard.
- Corrected an issue with the Career Circuit page size after viewing rewards on console.
- Fixed a problem where the Bank Rabbit Bundle couldn’t be purchased via the outfit screen.
Ranked Updates
- Added an end-of-match screen indicating rank changes.
- Added animations to show when a player is close to ranking up or down.
- Note: There’s a known issue where the first boot displays incorrect rankings. Ignore it; it won’t affect your actual rank. We opted to release with this issue rather than delay the feature.
