The Finals Playtest update is now available to download on PS4. According to the official The Finals Playtest patch notes, the latest update addressed a bug where bullet hits wouldn’t register for some clients. Apart from this, The Finals Playtest patch also includes a fix for a bug that caused third-person characters to get stuck in frozen animation states.
Previously, a big update added quality of life changes and improvements. Unfortunately, players are facing several issues. Today’s The Finals Playtest patch will fix a few of these issues.

The Finals Playtest Patch Notes – March 8, 2023
- Fixed a bug where bullet hits wouldn’t register for some clients.
- Fixed a bug that caused third-person characters to get stuck in frozen animation states.
- Fixed a client crash that sometimes occurred when downloading avatar images.
- Improved the level of detail for high-quality graphics settings.
