The Division 2 update 2.27 (TUY8S1.3) is available to download on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Division 2 2.27 patch notes, the latest TUY8S1.3 update adds Rise Up Stretch Goals, the Whiplash Exotic Pistol, major Prototype Gear buffs, permanent Escalation Tokens, and new multiplier events. Apart from this, Division 2 patch 2.27 also fixes several mission progression problems, lighting issues on PS5, Exotic weapon bugs, and matchmaking menu usability problems.

- Rise Up Stretch Goals start on June 2 and remain active until the season ends.
- Unlocked after reaching Tier 100 in the Season Pass.
- All rewards remain available through the free progression path.
- Added Rise Up Cache and Prestige Rise Up Cache reward types.
- Prestige caches provide improved guaranteed rewards and better Exotic drop chances.
Rise Up Cache Rewards
- Added Backpack, Arm Patch, and Weapon Skin drops.
- Added Named Item reward pool including Lexington, Stack Broker, Turmoil, Caretaker, Shield Splinterer, Huntsman, and more.
- Added Seasonal and Special Exotic rewards including Agitator, Investor, Nemesis, Liberty, Chatterbox, and Ridgeway’s Pride.
- Added Exclusive Exotic rewards including Regulus, Eagle Bearer, Ravenous, Bighorn, Ouroboros, Tempest, and Sheriff.
Climax Mission
- Rise Up Climax Mission becomes available on May 26.
- First Master difficulty completion guarantees the Whiplash Exotic Pistol.
- Higher difficulties improve repeat drop chances for Whiplash.
Whiplash Exotic Pistol
- Added the “Faster Than Reloading” Exotic Talent.
- Keeping the weapon holstered for 5 seconds reloads and primes it.
- Swapping to the weapon while primed reloads Primary and Secondary weapons.
- Primed state grants +20% Rate of Fire and +50% Weapon Damage until the magazine is emptied.
- Reloading or swapping weapons early removes the active bonuses.

- +50% Swap Speed Underbarrel
- +10% Critical Chance Magazine
Multiplier Events
- Gear Set Surge event runs from May 26 to June 2.
- All Gearset Material drops are doubled during the event.
- Season Pass XP x2 event begins on June 2.
- Doubled XP applies to Priority Objectives, Seasonal Journey, Weekly Projects, Manhunt Scouts, and world activities.
- Stretch Goals progression is not affected by the XP boost.
Prototype Gear Changes
- Increased scaling values for Quantum, Amalgam, Anomaly, and Synesthesia Augments.
- Quantum maximum bonus increased from 19.60% to 32.20%.
- Amalgam maximum bonus increased from 16.10% to 30.10%.
- Anomaly maximum bonus increased from 32.90% to 196%.
- Synesthesia maximum bonus increased from 30.10% to 98%.
Escalation Updates
- Escalation Tokens will no longer reset between seasons.
- Gear Mod and Skill Mod Targeted Loot now provides drops in Escalation.
- Heroic-level rolls now apply from Tier 0 to Tier 4.
- Legendary-level rolls now apply from Tier 5 onward.

- Improved Matchmaking Station menus in the Base of Operations and Safe Houses.
- Retaliation matchmaking option is now easier to locate.
