Tekken 8 Update 3.000.002 Patch Notes (v3.02) – April 16, 2026

Tekken 8 update 3.000.002 is available to download on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Tekken 8 version 3.02 patch notes, the latest update heavily limits aerial follow-ups after Heat Dash across the roster, raises Heat costs to 600F on many moves, and reduces damage on several strong options. Apart from this, the latest Tekken 8 patch 3.000.002 also fixes tracking, collision, and hit behavior problems while tightening throw escape rules during Heat to stabilize competitive balance.

PLAYABLE CHARACTERS

* Character Move Behavior Fixes and Balance Adjustments
– In Ver.3.00.02, we addressed unintended behaviors and made adjustments to Heat Dash combo starters and select Heat-related moves. For Heat-related moves, we focused on moves where the reward was disproportionately high relative to the difficulty of confirming hits and the associated risks.
– The next update is scheduled for release in late May. We will continue our efforts to improve overall battle balance and create a better competitive experience.

General Updates

  • Adjusted wall and character collision to improve combo stability near walls.
  • Improved collision detection to reduce unintended whiffs in specific situations.
  • Balance adjustments focused on high-reward Heat moves with lower execution difficulty.
  • Next balance update scheduled for late May.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved system setting reset issue related to the Magic Mirror option.

Known Issues

  • The bug fixes and move property adjustments implemented in Ver.3.00.02 have affected the Command List and explanatory texts in Special Style, Arcade Quest, and Practice modes, resulting in discrepancies between the displayed information and actual move properties.
  • In prioritizing these adjustments, we were unable to address this issue in time, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the next update, planned for release in late May.

Previously, a major Tekken 8 update 1.05 added various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are experiencing various network errors with the game. The upcoming Tekken 8 update 3.000.003 will fix a remaining issues.
