Tekken 8 update 1.013 (1.13) is available to download on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Tekken 8 version 1.013.000 patch notes, the latest TEKKEN 8 v1.13 update introduces Ghost vs. Ghost battles, Special Ghosts with collectible panels, and an option to hide player information. Apart from this, the latest Tekken 8 update 1.013 also includes stability fixes.

New “Ghost vs. Ghost” Feature
- Introduced AI-learned Ghost battles, allowing fights between player-trained Ghosts.
- Players can battle their Ghosts against others by selecting “Battle Ghosts” in the Lounge.
- Ghost behavior can be set to:
- Aggressive – Offense-focused combat.
- Defensive – Defense-oriented strategy.
- Balance – A mix of both styles.
Future Updates for “Ghost vs. Ghost”
- March (v1.13): Initial implementation of the feature.
- May (v2.01):
- Ghost data deletion & AI learning ON/OFF toggle.
- Introduction of TEKKEN GHOST SHOWDOWN for real-time Ghost battles.
- June (v2.02):
- Ability to give commands to Ghosts during battles.
- AI Ghosts will refine behavior based on player evaluations.
Five Special Ghosts with Obtainable Character Panels
- Defeat Special Ghosts to earn fan art character panels (one per victory).
- These Ghosts will appear until April 1st, after which five new ones will replace them.
Option to Hide Player Information on Avatars
- Added a “Hide” option to player information toggle ([R3/Right Stick/N]).
- New cycle order: Player Name → Platform Account Name → TEKKEN ID → Hide → Player Name.

Move Behavior Fixes & Balance Adjustments
- No balance changes in v1.13 as major adjustments are planned for Season 2 (April 1st).

Previously, a major Tekken 8 update 1.05 added various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are experiencing various network errors with the game. The upcoming Tekken 8 update 1.014 will fix a remaining issues.
