Tekken 8 update 1.004 patch notes details released for PS5, PC, and Xbox. According to the official Tekken 8 1.004 patch notes, the latest update adds new “NINJA Pack” and “SHINOBI Pack” costumes for all characters. Apart from this, the latest Tekken 8 version 1.004 also includes includes balancing changes and improvements.
Previously Tekken 8 patch 1.003 added various tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are experiencing various network errors with the game. The upcoming Tekken 8 update 1.005 (1.005.001) will fix a remaining issues.

New TEKKEN SHOP Items
- “NINJA Pack” and “SHINOBI Pack” costumes for all characters
- “Lili” legacy costume
- One free avatar item
Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Better online match performance
- Clearer “PLAY STATS” labels
- Skip animations in “My Replay & Tips”
- Faster “Exciting Replay” loading
- Fixed Reina’s “Kijin Face Guard” and “Surgical Mask” overlap
- Fixed upper body skin color issue
- Other minor fixes and improvements
Behavior/properties of moves will be adjusted for some characters.
Scope of Update
The application of the update data will result in the following impact on each mode and feature.
- “DOWNLOADED REPLAYS”, ”MY REPLAY & TIPS”: Replay data from before the update will be unavailable for playback.
- “ONLINE REPLAY”: Replay data from before the update will be deleted.
- “SUPER GHOST BATTLE”, ”GHOST MATCH”: Character behavior and move properties will reflect that of the post-update state.
- Eddy “Heat Dash” – The ability to activate Heat Dash despite whiffing in specific circumstances.
- The behavior of the opponent when Heat Dash is activated under certain circumstances and deviate from expectations.
- Eddy “Dash and Back Dash” – The occurrence of unintended dashes or back dashes.
- Added stability fixes.
- Added gameplay performance improvmeents.
