TCM update 1.05 (version 1.005) is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. Accroding to the official TCM patch notes, the update addressed several critical issues. Notably, the Hitchhiker Trap exploit that allowed players to bypass walls and doors has been fixed. Apart from this, TCM game update 1.05 (version 1.000.005) also made adjustments to Johnny and Sissy’s lunges to align them with other Family members, ensuring a balanced gaming experience.
Unfortunetly, since the last patch 1.03, players have been experiencing some issues with the game. Today’s TCM patch 1.05 will fix a few of these issues.

Fixed:
Hitchhiker Trap Exploit
- Addressed an exploit where Hitchhiker players could use his trap to pass through walls and doors.
- Ensured fair gameplay by fixing this exploit.
Hitchhiker Trap Interaction Issues
- Resolved an issue where Victims would be unable to interact with gaps, crawl spaces, and other elements after stepping in a Hitchhiker Trap.
- Improved gameplay by fixing this interaction problem.
Johnny and Sissy Lunge
- Adjusted Johnny and Sissy’s lunge, bringing it more in line with other Family members.
- Balanced the game by aligning their abilities with the rest of the Family members.
- Corrected the Johnny build commonly used in public matches.
Brightness Cheat
- Fixed an issue that allowed PC users to adjust their in-game brightness outside of accepted levels by editing game files.
- Ensured fair competition and gameplay integrity by addressing this issue.
Tuned
Tae Kwan Door Perk Levels Reduced
- Level 1: Reduced stun duration to 5 seconds.
- Level 2: Reduced stun duration to 6 seconds.
- Level 3: Reduced stun duration to 8 seconds.
Agitator Perk Levels Reduced
- Level 1: Reduced Family Bond reduction to 1.5 levels.
- Level 2: Reduced Family Bond reduction to 2 levels.
- Level 3: Reduced Family Bond reduction to 2.5 levels.
Stealth Performance in Minigames
- Adjusted the amount of noise generated in gathering minigames when at full Stealth.
- Influenced stealth strategy by modifying noise levels during minigames.
Leland Ability Stun Duration
- Fine-tuned the stun duration upgrades for Leland’s Life Saver ability.
- Improved the balance of Leland’s abilities in various situations.
