Supermarket Together update is available to download on PC. According to the official Supermarket Together patch notes, the latest update adds a new Pharmacy franchises, standing freezer, and security employee roles. Network improvements reduce latency, and box merging is now available.
Supermarket Together Patch Notes – September 18, 2024
New Features
Product Franchises
- Pharmacy I and Pharmacy II franchises added.
- Branch from Hygiene in the perks blackboard.
- Includes basic medicines, vitamins, etc.
- Next planned franchises: Fruits and Vegetables.
Store Furniture
- New store furniture piece: Standing Freezer.
Employee Security Role
- First iteration of Security Role for employees.
- Employees will chase thieves and attempt to hit them.
- Employees won’t pick up products from the floor yet.
Box Merging
- Players can now merge box contents by clicking on a box with the same product in storage shelves.
- Merging directly within boxes not available yet, as ground boxes don’t show quantities.
Ground Box Management
- Managers can now check product quantities in ground boxes via the manager’s blackboard.
- Does not yet apply to boxes carried by players.
Core and Gameplay Improvements
Network Latency
- Network core update to reduce latency when placing products, especially for players experiencing missing items during restocking.
Customer Transactions
- Adjusted customer payments to avoid odd amounts when paying larger sums of money.
Thief Behavior
- Thieves’ max speed reduced.
- Thieves will roam more before attempting to steal.
Visual and Performance Adjustments
Product Adjustments
- Red beans, big tuna, and premium soda now correctly face forward.
- Cheese bags no longer block price labels in fridges.
Graphics Options
- Added Bloom setting to adjust for overlighting in stores.
- Option to turn off videos for better performance on older graphics cards.
Performance Optimization
- Product adjustments for better performance, especially in larger stores, improving FPS.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue where a franchise point was incorrectly awarded each time the game was loaded.
- Employees no longer pass through closed doors.
- Fixed issue with cheese bags obstructing price labels.
