Street Fighter 6 (SF6) PS5 Update 1.000.029 Patch Notes

Capcom releases Street Fighter 6 update 1.000.029 is available to download on PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. According to the SF6 update 1.000.029 patch notes, the latest update restores intended Drive Rush timing, resolves Modern control input failures, and corrects several character-specific bugs for JP and M. Bison. In addition, Street Fighter 6 patch 1.000.029 also reset replay compatibility for the new version, and interface display issues have been addressed.

Universal Changes

  • Fixed a problem where Drive Rush could not be activated immediately after block stun ended following a successful Drive Parry.
  • Adjusted wake-up input buffering when overlapping with Drive Rush, reducing the buffer by 3 frames to match behavior before the Alex update.
  • Resolved an issue with Modern controls where assisted jumping attacks failed to trigger during certain airborne techniques if Drive Rush activated during the screen flash.

JP

  • Corrected an inconsistency where Departure: Shadow started 1 frame faster when canceled from specific normal attacks compared to other cancel routes.

M. Bison

  • Fixed an issue where Psycho Mine remained attached to the opponent after a Drive Reversal following the second hit of Normal Devil Reverse.
  • Addressed unintended behavior affecting Psycho Mine interactions during Devil Reverse and Somersault Skull Diver sequences.

Replay and System Notices

  • Replays created in earlier versions can no longer be played after updating.
  • Saved replays will remain in storage but cannot be viewed.
  • Replay searches will only return results from the current version.
  • Previous version history data will not appear in Fighter Profiles.
  • V-Rival AI may temporarily struggle to respond to newly updated techniques.

Additional Fixes

  • Fixed a display issue where the selected Super Art was not shown on the Avatar tab in the Fighter Profile.
  • Adjusted portions of Alex’s World Tour story text in certain language versions.
