Stellar Blade Update 1.012 Patch Notes (July 2025 Update)

Stellar Blade update 1.012 (version 1.012.000) details are now available for PS5, PC and PS5 Pro. According to the official Stellar Blade 1.012 patch notes, the latest update brings new Stellar Blade-themed Steam items, rearranged BGM tracks, early access to Hard Mode, and save recovery tools. Apart from this, Stellar Blade patch 1.012 also includes various bug fixes stability improvements.

Gameplay Updates

Hard Mode Unlocked Early

• Hard Mode is now available from the start of the game.

• Also unlocked for use in Boss Challenge Mode.

Save System Improvements

Save Failure Notification

• Save errors now display a message on the center-left of the screen.

Save File Recovery Feature

• Corrupted saves can now be restored using backup saves when launching the game.

Graphics Settings Update

VRAM Usage Display Improved

• Graphics options now show current VRAM usage and expected maximum usage.

Bug Fixes

• Quest Fix: Resolved issue in “Where Is The Fantastic Bait?” where bait was sometimes unobtainable.

• Photo Mode: Logo rotation now works with AZERTY keyboards.

• Burst Skill Bug: Fixed issue where EVE’s gun disappeared on some PCs in the NIKKE mini-game.

• Camera Glitch: Fixed camera issue during Demogorgon battle.

• Artbook Visibility: Resolved artbook not appearing on title screen post-first playthrough.

• Outfit Issue: Fixed reset bug when using “Planet Diving Suit (6th) V3” in Boss Challenge.

• Suit Purchase: “Design Pattern: Planet Diving Suit (2nd) V2” now purchasable in New Game+ for eligible players.

• Scarlet Battle QTE Bug: Fixed animation and camera errors during QTEs.

• Photo Mode Crash: Resolved rare crash when entering Photo Mode.

• Miscellaneous: Various other bug fixes implemented.

Previously, a major update 1.008 added support for the PlayStation 5 Pro and introduced new “Pro” and “Pro Max” graphic settings. Unfortunately, players are experiencing various issues with the game.
