Stellar Blade update 1.008 (version 1.008.000) is available to download on PS5. According to the official Stellar Blade 1.008 patch notes, the latest update adds support for the PlayStation 5 Pro and introduces new “Pro” and “Pro Max” graphic settings. Apart from this, Stellar Blade patch 1.008 also includes several visual enhancements.
Previously, a major update 1.002 added New Game+. Unfortunately, players are experiencing various issues with the game. The upcoming Stellar Blade version 1.008 will fix a few of these issues. Read the official patch notes below.
Stellar Blade 1.008 Patch Notes – October 22, 2024
New Features:
- Added support for the PlayStation 5 Pro.
- Added new “Pro” and “Pro Max” graphic settings.
High Frame Rate (HFR) Mode
- HFR Mode introduced to reduce input lag and boost frame rate performance.
- Requirements: Display must support 120 Hz output, and 120 Hz Output must be enabled in PlayStation 5 settings (Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output).
Graphics Modes
- Prioritize Performance: Optimized for high frame rates.
- Balanced: Offers a balance between resolution and frame rate.
- Prioritize Resolution: Focuses on delivering the highest visual quality.
- Enhanced Balanced Mode: Optimized for PlayStation 5 Pro, using PSSR (PlayStation Shader Rendering) for improved quality.
- Max Enhanced Prioritize Resolution Mode: Available for PlayStation 5 Pro, delivering higher frame rates alongside improved resolution.
Visual Enhancements:
- Various visual enhancements added for improved graphics.
Stability & Optimization:
- Stability fixes applied to improve overall performance.
- Gameplay optimization improvements made for smoother gameplay.
Minor Changes:
- Other minor tweaks included for general improvements.
