A new Steep update 1.23 is now rolling out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC players. According to the official Steep 1.23 patch notes, the new update comes with a new season format, a new Ubisoft Club challenges, new items and more. Apart from this, Steep version 1.23 also includes stability and performance improvements. The update download size is around 1GB on all platforms.
Previously, a big update was released with new Steep PvP multiplayer mode and more. Unfortunately, since this update, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Steep patch 1.23 is expected to fix all these issues.

NEW FEATURES
- The Steep World Tour configuration has undergone several changes, the full details will be available in a dedicated article tomorrow.
- New Ubisoft Club Weekly challenges have been added to seasons.
- New cosmetic items have been added to the shop.
BUG FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
PvP Mode
- Added 10 new multiplayer playlists with new challenges, 5 of which will be in Japan.
- These will be included in the playlists rotations over the coming weeks.
- Fixed several minor issues linked to “Join in Progress” during matchmaking.
- Steep update 1.23 fixed a few minor issues with “Voting Starts” and “Voting Results” screens.
- Players will no longer be stuck in the lobby under certain circumstances.
General
- Live Challenges have a new logo and are now called Season Specials. Six Season Specials (2 per massif) will be available all month, in addition to one Yeti Special.
- Improved the location of the spawning point in Asia.
- The share ride option will no longer remain active after trails memory is exceeded.
- Community Challenge icons will no longer disappear under certain circumstances.
- Added fixes for crashing issues with Steep version 1.23.
- Added fixes for stuttering/lag issues.
- Steep 1.23 for PS4 has fixed some glitches.
- Added fixes for framerate drop and freezing issues.
- Added performance and stability improvements.
- Gameplay improvements added with Steep 1.23.
- Added other minor fixes and changes with Steep version 1.23.
