Starfield Day One patch is now available to download on PC and Xbox. According to the Starfield day 1 patch, the latest update brings quality-of-life changes and bug fixes. Starfield update 1 download size is around 15GB.
Recently, the game has received positive reviews from critics and players. Unfortunetly, since the release, players have been experiencing various crashing and low fps issues. Today’s Starfield update will fix a few of these issues.

Starfield Day 1 Patch Notes – August 31, 2023
- Stability Improvements– Fixes for crashes, freezes, save game errors, and memory-related issues.
- Quest/Progression Fixes– Resolving quest bugs blocking progress, scripting errors, NPC behavior, etc.
- Graphics/Performance Fixes– Correcting graphical glitches, optimizing VRAM usage, and improving framerate.
- UI/Menu Improvements– Enhancements to inventory, maps, journals, controls, and interface.
- Multiplayer Fixes– Resolving disconnection and synchronization issues.
- Balance Changes– Weapon damage, loot drops, enemy health, and more.
