Stalker 2 Update 1.0.3 Patch Notes for PC and Xbox – December 3, 2024

Stalker 2 patch 1.0.3 is available to download on PC(Steam) and Xbox. According to the official Stalker 2 patch notes, the latest update resolves major crash issues, improves input settings, fixes mission bugs, refines AI behavior, and ensures save system reliability. In addition, Stalker 2 update 1.0.3 also fixes NPCs, quest triggers, and enemy spawns.

• Resolved multiple ACCESS_VIOLATION_ERROR crashes.

Controls Adjustments

• Input Lag Improvements:
  • Disabled Mouse Smoothing by default.
  • Disabled Mouse Acceleration by default.
• Default Sensitivity Updates:
  • Camera sensitivity set to 25%.
  • Aim sensitivity set to 15%.

Mission Fixes

Main Missions:

• Fixed Monolithians chasing players outside the X-5 lab during “In Search of Past Glory” mission.
• Resolved NPC deaths (Hamster and Ricochet) in “On the Edge” mission when entering a building.
• Fixed Bayun cat despawning before loot retrieval in “In the Name of Science” mission.

Side Missions:

• Resolved potential player lock-in issue during “Dangerous Liaisons” mission.
• Fixed Roosevelt hostility during stealth segments in “King of the Hill” mission.
• Addressed Sava despawning after dialog in “A Heavy Burden” mission.
• Fixed NPC despawning when completing “Legends of the Zone” mission.

AI Fixes

• Fixed mutant body stretching after being shot with automatic weapons.
• Resolved NPCs blocking doorways during “Back to the Slag Heap” mission.

Balance Adjustments

• Fixed Sidorovich not selling certain ammo types.

Save System Fixes

• Addressed missing player saves after PC or Xbox hard reboots.
