A new Splatoon 3 update 4.0.1 details are now available for Nintendo Switch players. According to the Splatoon 3 4.0.1 patch notes, the latest update adds minor tweaks and stability fixes. Apart from this, Splatoon 3 patch 4.0.1 also includes gameplay performance improvements.
Previously, a minor Splatoon 3 update 1.20 added support for the Inkopolis DLC and a new Season 2023. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game. Splatoon 3 patch 4.0.1 will fix a few of these issues.

Fixes to Player Controls
- Fixed an issue where jumping with the B Button and holding down the ZR Button while landing would cause rapid-fire shots to have a greater range than intended when using a Squeezer.
- Fixed an issue when opening or closing brellas where the targeting reticle did not always reflect the change.
