Insomniac Games has released Spiderman 2 update 1.312 (Patch 5) on PC(Steam). According to the official Spiderman 2 1.312 patch notes, the latest update improves performance for Venom gameplay, enhances DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and updates DirectStorage to 1.2.3. Apart from this, Spiderman 2 patch 1.312 also fixes UI issues, input responsiveness in Photo Mode, and various ray-tracing bugs.

Performance & Stability
- Optimized performance for Venom gameplay, including combat and cinematics.
- Various crash fixes and stability improvements.

Graphics & Ray-Tracing Enhancements
- Improved DLSS Ray Reconstruction to reduce noise in facial shadows.
- Various ray-traced reflection improvements.
- Fixed flickering in screen space reflections when looking at large bodies of water.

Bug Fixes & UI Improvements
- Fixed UI elements not loading properly during Prowler side quests with frame generation and upscaling enabled.
- Resolved an issue where Hunter Blinds minigame controls could appear outside of the minigame.
- Addressed a bug where hovering over headers in the settings menu triggered unintended sound effects.
- Corrected a line break issue in settings descriptions for some languages.
- FNSM App description now correctly shows [HOLD] instead of [SWIPE] when using an Xbox controller.
- Various UI bug fixes and improvements.
Photo Mode & Input Fixes
- Fixed an issue where mouse and keyboard could become unresponsive when switching input devices in Photo Mode.
- Players can now take photos when mapping the Gadget Modifier to the middle mouse button.
- Selected stickers in Photo Mode will no longer appear off-screen.
Previously, a major Spiderman 2 update 1.305 addressed multiple ray tracing and UI-related issues as well as optimized the CPU and GPU performance.
