Space Marine 2 Update 1.010.002 Patch Notes (Patch 10.2) – Sept. 19, 2025

Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 update 1.010.002 is available to download on PS5, Xbox and PC(Steam). According to the official Space Marine 2 1.010.002 patch notes, the latest update 10.2 introduces a Heroic Chainsword rework, adjusts Camo Cloak costs to balance invisibility, and reduces Chaos Spawn numbers. Apart from this, WH40K Space Marine 2 version 1.010.002 also fixes multiple general issues including weapon damage, bot navigation, and PvP stability.

Space Marine 2 Patch 10.2 Highlights

• Heroic Chainsword reworked with new Stomp finisher and +15% Heavy attack damage.

• Camo Cloak activation cost changed, preventing infinite cloak cancel abuse.

• Chaos Spawn numbers reduced, balancing against Tyranid Warriors.

• Stratagems fixed to match listed Battlefield Conditions.

• General fixes improve weapon balance, bot behavior, UI, and PvP stability.

Gameplay and Balancing Tweaks

Heroic Chainsword

• Base stats rebalanced.

• Perk reworked: Light → Heavy → Heavy combo now ends with a Stomp attack.

• Heavy attack damage increased by 15%.

Stratagems

• Fixed issue with Daily Stratagems showing more Battlefield Conditions than listed.

Camo Cloak

• New activation cost system:

  • First 3 uses consume energy as before.

  • 4th use drains 5% energy instantly, each further use drains more.

  • After last activation, a 10-second reset restores zero-cost use.

• Cloak cancel remains effective but cannot be abused endlessly.

Spawn Director

• Chaos Spawn pack size reduced, now matches Tyranid Warrior numbers.

General Fixes

• Fixed Power Backstep damage when using Power Wave perk on Power Axe.

• Improved flame weapon VFX visibility for allies.

• Fixed bots failing to enter elevators in Exfiltration.

• Fixed perks causing friendly fire damage.

• Resolved PvP connectivity issues.

• Minor localization and UI fixes.

• ESRB update pop-up will now appear once in the main menu.

Previously, a major Space Marine 2 update 1.003.001 added quality of life changes and fixes. Unfortunately, since the Space Marine 2 day one patch, players are facing several problems including joining server issue. Today’s WH 40K Space Marine 2 patch 1.010.002 will solve a few of these problems. More fixes are coming in Space Marine 2 update 1.011.
