Space Marine 2 Update 1.010.001 Patch Notes (Patch 10.1) – Sept. 11, 2025

Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 update 1.010.001 is available to download on PS5, Xbox and PC(Steam). According to the official Space Marine 2 1.010.001 patch notes, the latest update 10.1 delivers major melee weapon buffs, PvE balance changes, improved daily Stratagem rewards, and adjustments to the Multi-Melta in PvP. Customisation fixes, and new cosmetic availability. Apart from this, WH40K Space Marine 2 version 1.010.001 also includes various bug fixes.

Space Marine 2 Patch 10.1 Highlights

• Major melee balance changes: Power Axe buffs, Combat Knife bonus damage boost, and Bulwark stun-lock fix.
• Stratagems improved: better daily rewards and reduced HP penalty for Suboptimal State.
• PvP Multi-Melta adjustments: enforced fire interval and increased hip-fire rate.
• Customization & levels fixes: new helmets, DLC lock corrections, and proper rewards in Operation Vortex.
• General fixes: bug fixes, stability, and crash improvements.

Gameplay & Balancing (PvE)

Power Axe

• Switched positions of Slash Momentum and Discharge perks.

• Whirlwind attacks: widened and damage increased by 50%.

• Power Step attack damage increased by 66%.

• Slash Momentum perk description now displays correct values.

Combat Knife

• Heroic version (Power Gladius): perfect dodge bonus damage increased to 120%.

• Bonus damage applies to all attacks (not just light attacks, despite description).

Bulwark

• Shield Rush can no longer stun lock Terminus enemies.

Stratagems

• Daily rewards increased:

  • Normal: 10

  • Hard: 15

• Suboptimal State (Battlefield Condition): HP penalty reduced from 75% → 66%.

PvP Weapons

Multi-Melta

• Shot interval enforced when transitioning to standing position.

• Hip-fire rate increased from 35 → 50 RPM.

Customisation

• Multiple minor fixes applied.

• Mark VIII Errant Helmet (no decorations) now available for purchase.

• Ultramarines Champion Armour Parts correctly locked behind DLC.

• Mark VII Helmet (no decorations) coming later.

Levels

• Operation Vortex: Armoury Data now correctly rewarded for killing the Vortex Beast.

General Fixes

• Fixed Trygon Prime leaving arena to attack Cadians in Stratagem mode.

• Fixed Emperor’s Vengeance (Tactical) not restoring Melta Charges for Heroic Bolt Rifle (Combi-Melta).

• Fixed Stratagems not working offline.

• Fixed rare black screen in Helbrute Onslaught after class selection.

• Minor localization fixes.

• Numerous minor bug fixes.

Tech

• Crash fixes and stability improvements.

Previously, a major Space Marine 2 update 1.003.001 added quality of life changes and fixes. Unfortunately, since the Space Marine 2 day one patch, players are facing several problems including joining server issue. Today’s WH 40K Space Marine 2 patch 1.010.001 will solve a few of these problems. More fixes are coming in Space Marine 2 update 1.011.
