Soulmask update 17 is now available to download on PC(Steam). According to the official Soulmask patch notes, the latest update brings skill adjustments, new mount settings, and furniture renaming. In addition, Soulmask patch 17 also includes numerous bug fixes related to gameplay, sound, and construction.
Previously, a major Soulmask update 5 added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Soulmask patch 17 will fix a few of these issues.

New Features and Adjustments
Skills
- Gauntlets Skill – Rapid Monkey Scratch: Players will no longer dash forward if the target is significantly taller than the player.
- Blade Skill – Low Strike: Duration reduced to 15 seconds.
Mount Settings
- New setting added to adjust mount follow distance.
- New setting added to configure mount usage permissions.
Furniture
- Players can now rename their furniture.
Sound Effects
- New working sound effects added for the dye vat.
Bug Fixes and Optimizations
Gameplay Fixes
- Fixed an issue where tribesmen would get stuck in the outhouse during combat.
- Fixed an issue where chests couldn’t be moved onto Foundation Flooring.
- Fixed a bug where Eclipse explosion damage could penetrate walls.
- Addressed the issue where tribesmen lost Satiety and Hydration after server restarts.
- Fixed a display issue where buff durations continued decreasing in single-player mode after pausing.
Audio and Visual Optimizations
- Optimized the excessive volume drop after opening fullscreen interfaces.
- Improved sound effects for connecting to the Windmill and Power Extension Shaft.
- Enhanced construction effects for Fishing Traps, Small Traps, and Medium Traps.
Miscellaneous Fixes
- Fixed the rain barrel preventing tribesmen from retrieving water when empty.
- Corrected global broadcast issues with the collecting tool prompt.
- Fixed the Pipe Gatherer not producing serum with low yield multipliers.
- Improved food consumption priority for domesticated animals.
