Soulmask update 13 is now available to download on PC(Steam). According to the official Soulmask patch notes, the latest update brings new skills, building parts, and quality-of-life improvements, along with crucial bug fixes and adjustments to game mechanics and cooldowns. In addition, Squad patch 13 also includes various bug fixes and changes.
Previously, a major Soulmask update 5 added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release.
Today’s Soulmask patch 13 will fix a few of these issues.

New Features and Adjustments
New Skills
- New Bow Skill: “Eclipse”
- Shoots a black arrow nullifying most Superarmor effects and talents of the target and adjacent enemies (including “Hardened Body”, “Firm Will”, “Steel Body”).
Hitstun Mechanics
- Parry and Empty Resilience Hitstun
- Attacks received shorten the Hitstun duration until it ends.
Soulmask Node
- Core Functional Module: “Recover Sense”
- Unlocks a skill to regain character control during Hitstun states.
Building Additions
- New Parts
- Half-Height parts for thatch and wooden buildings.
- Left Sloping Wall parts for thatch, stone, and blackstone buildings.
Life Perception
- Lighting Module Activation
- Allows detection of creature quality.
Coefficient Settings
- Interaction Limits
- Damaged buildings cannot be repaired or relocated for a set duration.
- Building and Population Limits
- Toggle building number limits and adjust tribe population.
Arena Improvements

- Added prompts and logs for invalid Arena challenges.
Miscellaneous Adjustments
- Class Skill: “Unyielding Determination”
- Cooldown reduced to 45 seconds (previously 60 seconds).

- Sorted by tribesman names.
- Building Construction
- Piranha Pond no longer requires an upgraded Building Workshop.
- Shield Skills
- Using shield skills to deal damage now awards Shield Proficiency EXP.
- Mining Platform
- Removed “Dismantle” option; can be repaired normally.

- Fixed animals summoned by Nature Enlightenment not following character under certain conditions.
- Fixed errors in scene loading when creating characters in online mode.
- Fixed negative effects from Slime Can and Fecal Tank persisting despite dodging.
- Fixed abnormal behavior from feeding multiple liquor bottles to deterred NPCs.
- Fixed screen effects persisting when controlling other tribesmen in a drunk state.
- Fixed potential crash when returning to main menu and continuing in single-player mode.
- Fixed incorrect material quantities in crafting blueprint tips.

- Fixed characters getting stuck on valve trap edges.
