Sniper Elite Resistance update 1.008 is now rolling out on PS5, Xbox, and PC. According to the official Sniper Elite Resistance version 1.008.000 patch notes, the latest update adds new DLC maps, weapons, and cosmetics, alongside free multiplayer and survival content. Apart from this, Sniper Elite Resistance patch 1.008 also includes stability and gameplay performance improvements.

Campaign
Behind Enemy Lines
- Fixed an issue where the level would not render outside the house in the outro cutscene
- Fixed an issue where the cracks on the dam could display twice in a cutscene
Dead Drop
- Improved collision boxes to help the player mount curbs when carrying bodies
- Fixed an enemy going out of bounds on the map
- The ‘Search Vertigo’s Apartment’ objective now correctly updates once the player reaches the first floor of Vertigo’s apartment
- Removed the invisible wall by the zipline near to the underground entrance to the town
- Removed a little box from on top of a set of sandbag walls
- Fixed a bug where the lighting on Harry when he is in an underground area is brighter than it’s meant to be

Devil’s Cauldron
- Fixed some places where the player character could not take cover against some sandbags and walls
- Fixed a visible hole in the floor geometry at a road checkpoint near the guard house
- Fixed a couple of cases where enemy AI could see and shoot the player character through walls/rocks
- Fixed a case where crouching when using a zipline could cause the player to fall into the lake
- Disabled dropping from the zipline over the lake to prevent players entering an out of bounds area
Assault on Fort Rouge
- Fixed a couple of issues with the AI pathing of Uwe Schoene to ensure he approaches the correct location for the Kill List challenge and will still path correctly after being alerted
- Fixed a couple of cases where enemies/enemy bodies and a truck would float above the ground slightly
- Improved collision for throwable items in certain parts of the level
- Fixed a bug where a tank could disappear when it was destroyed
- Fixed a visible hole in the floor geometry in the tunnel that leads to the castle basement
- Repositioned some crates that were visibly floating in the Abbey
- Fixed an issue where players could climb under the floor near a broken part of the castle wall
- Amended the lighting on the stairs leading to the first floor of the town hall
- Fixed some smoke VFX that was rendering incorrectly
Lock, Stock and Barrels
- Fixed an issue where players could place a satchel charge on doors and then use a key to open it, now placing a satchel commits to this method of opening the door and removes the other option
- Fixed several issues that occurred when alerting the Kill List target during his drinking animation
- Fixed an issue where the objective marker remained present after killing all of the Elite Snipers as part of the optional objective
- Fixed an issue in which enemies would spot/shoot the player through a wall from the Western Farmhouse alternate start point
End of the Line
- Improved throwables collision around certain parts of the level
- Added collision to a metal railing to prevent the player character passing through it
- Removed a satchel charge from an inaccessible room
- Deleted a pink texture visible from the lookout ruins spawn point
- Fixed a visible hole in the floor geometry in one of the bunkers
- Fixed an issue where Axis invaders could not reach a certain location that the host player could
- Fixed an issue where the player character could not drop down into a trench
- Improved one of the Axis spawn locations to avoid the player getting stuck
Epilogue

- Added the ability to vault over a wooden box that previously couldn’t
- Removed the ability to vault over a small section of wall in the northeast corner of the wall, to stop the player having with the nearby debris
- Fixed an issue with a shadow by the town hall so it now appears correctly
- Added shadows to a few bushes that were missing them
- Fixed an issue where the player would not grab the edge of a ledge when moving off a ledge near a zipline
- Removed an unneeded climb prompt near the burning car
- Improved the climb interaction area on a wall to stop the resulting landing hitting a wooden box
- Fixed an issue where the players legs could slightly go into a table whilst vaulting over it
- Fixed an issue where after climbing to the top of some vines the player would not successfully stand on the ledge above
- Fixed an issue where vaulting over an indoor table would briefly show the outside map on the minimap
- Fixed various stair issues including collision and minor placement adjustments
- Fixed various issues with throwable not behaving as expected with the environment (getting caught on a piece of environment or going through areas they shouldn’t)
Deathmatch Chateau Grounds
- Removed an invisible ledge that was next to one of the Chateau’s balconies
- Fixed an issue where the player would not grab the edge of a ledge when moving off the side of a balcony
- Improved the collision of one of the tables in the kitchen to more closely match its physical shape
Sniper Elite 5 Map – No Cross Flooded Village
- Fixed an issue where the camera could clip through wooden planks covering some windows
- Fixed an issue on a path where the textures didn’t align correctly
No Cross Alpine Gorge
- Fixed an issue where being at a specific location certain objects in the distance wouldn’t appear
Survival
Sniper Elite 5 Map – Survival Pest control
- Fixed an issue where ‘Duke’ operation wouldn’t unlock for clients after completing the ‘Baron’ operation
Survival Fortress Command
- Fixed an issue where a vehicle could become stuck out of the level when playing online
- Removed an invisible wall near the church
- Improved the collision box on a gravestone to more accurately match its physical shape
- Fixed a few pillars on a building as their bases were slightly above the ground
- Fixed a few windowsills that were missing their textures
- Fixed a set of stairs that were not placed against from the wall
- Fixed a set of small steps that finished a little higher then intended
