Smite Update 12.80 Patch Notes (Smite 11.5)

Smite update 12.80 (v11.5) is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Smite 12.80 patch notes, the latest update brings new god skins, bug fixes, balance adjustments, and other miscellaneous updates. Apart from this, Smite version 12.80 also includes stability fixes.

Previously, a big season Smite update 8.9 added Shiva – The Destroyer to the game. Unfortunately, players have been experiencing several issues with the game since the last major patch. Today’s Smite patch 12.80 will fix a few of these issues.

BUG FIXES

UI

  • Items that reach stacks in the triple digits are no longer truncated.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing item icons to sometimes not load correctly.

Game Modes Conquest

  • Resolved issue with NPC navigation in the Fire Giant pit. This affected the Bull Demon and various Pets.

Odin’s Onslaught

  • Fixed issue where Scale and Skull delivery would not apply buffs when expected.
  • Fixed several minor collision issues where players could clip into world geometry.
  • Fixed several flag possession issues.
  • Lancelot is now properly Silenced by the Scale and Skull, meaning he can no longer travel with them while on his horse.

Gods Shiva

  • Fixed an issue where Shiva was able to increase his ult rank prematurely.

Zeus

  • Fixed an issue with Zeus’ The Fallen skin, where his “Attack the Titan!” VGS was previously playing the “I’ll defend the Titan!” voice line.

Athena

  • Fixed an issue where Athena was unable to gain Block stacks from using her Preemptive Strike on minions.

Game Modes Ranked

  • All Ranked modes will be soft reset.

Odin’s Onslaught Returns!

  • The Gold victory condition has been increased to 40,000.
  • The value of kills has been increased, while the value of non-objective camp kills has been reduced.
  • Adjusted Health and Protections for all camps, as well as their scaling.
  • Increased setup time from 30 seconds to 75 seconds.
  • The following gods are banned: Aphrodite, Bakasura, Cliodhna, Janus, Jing Wei, Jormungandr, Persephone, The Morrigan.

Misc. Updates

  • Spawn Logic has been revamped to be more robust and better at checking for nearby friendlies and enemies. Players are more likely to spawn near an ally unless there are two or more enemies in their general vicinity.
  • Assist System: Participating in fights is rewarded, even if someone takes the kill. Players will now get 35% of the value as long as they damaged the god before they were killed by an enemy player.
  • Capture Point and Pickup Polish: Visual and gameplay indicators for picking up and capturing objectives have been improved.
  • Buffs: Buffs are now awarded to both you and your ally when you clear a buff camp, regardless of their location. Buff effects have been updated:
    • Hybrid Green Belt – Treant’s Vitality: +10% Max Health and Mana, +50 HP5, +30 MP5
    • Hybrid Purple Belt – Dire Boar’s Ferocity: +20% Attack Speed, +10 Penetration, +10% Penetration
    • Hybrid Red Belt – Drakespawn’s Power: +10% Damage Dealt, +10 Power, +10% Cooldown Reduction
    • Hybrid Yellow Belt – Norn’s Agility: +5% Movement Speed, +3% Movement Speed for every Enemy God within 55 feet (up to 5 stacks), +20% Crowd Control Reduction
  • HUD: HUD elements in Odin’s Onslaught are now configurable with the HUD editor for both the Classic and Updated versions.

Slash Refresh

  • Gold spooling increased from 8 per second to 9 per second.
  • New out-of-base portal added to get players back into the action quickly.
  • Enhanced Apophis now spawns two Juggernauts when killed. Apophis becomes Enhanced at 20 minutes.
  • Buff orb pickup lifespan increased from 30 to 45 seconds.

Duel

  • The following gods are unbanned: Achilles, Atlas, Baba Yaga, Bake Kujira, Cerberus, Charon, Charybdis, Chernobog, Cliodhna, Cthulhu, Danzaburou, Gilgamesh, Heimdallr, Horus, Ishtar, Ix Chel, Jormungandr, King Arthur, Maman Brigitte, Martichoras, Maui, Merlin, Mulan, Olorun, Pele, Persephone, Set, Shiva, Surtr, Tiamat, Tsukuyomi, Yemoja, Yu Huang.
  • The following gods are now banned: Ah Muzen Cab, Anhur, Anubis, Ao Kuang, Arachne, Bakasura, Bastet, Cernunnos, Erlang Shen, Freya, Hades, He Bo, Hou Yi, Kali, Loki, Osiris, Poseidon, Skadi, Ullr, Vamana.
  • The following gods will remain banned: Baron Samedi, Hera, Lancelot, Morgan Le Fay, Nut.

Item Balance Equinox

  • Decreased Healing from gods from 2x to 1.5x.

Jotunn’s Wrath, Jotunn’s Vigor, Jotunn’s Cunning

  • Increased Cost from 2200 to 2300, 2800 to 2900, 2800 to 2900 respectively.

Transcendence

  • Decreased Mana from 300 to 250.
  • Decreased Mana per stack from 15 to 10.

New – Curseweaver

  • Builds from Sorcerer’s Staff.
  • 2500g.
  • 60 Magical Power, 250 Health, 250 Mana.
  • Passive: Hitting an enemy god with a Basic Attack or Ability marks them for 4s. When the marked enemy god casts an ability, they take 5% of your Maximum Health + 5% of your Maximum Mana as Magical damage. You heal for 100% of the damage dealt. You may only apply a mark once every 12s. Each time an enemy casts an ability within 55 units of you, reduce the cooldown of this item by 1s.

New – Duality

  • Builds from Balanced Blade.
  • 2700g.
  • 40 Physical Power, 15% Attack Speed.
  • Passive: Once every 5s, your next Basic Attack has half of its damage converted to Physical ability damage. This damage can trigger ability item effects.

Cursed Orb

  • Decreased Cost from 1600 to 1500.

Doom Orb

  • Decreased Cost from 2850 to 2700.

Cyclopean Ring

  • Increased Passive damage from 8% Max Health to 9%.
  • Decreased Cooldown from 10s to 8s.

Bancroft’s Talon, Nimble Bancroft’s Talon, Bancroft’s Claw

  • Decreased Cost from 2500 to 2400, 3100 to 3000, 3100 to 3000 respectively.
  • Nimble Bancroft’s Talon also gained 2 Basic Attack Power per Passive stack.

Blackthorn Hammer

  • Increased Physical Power from 35 to 40.
  • Increased Health from 300 to 350.

Warding Sigil, Sigil of the Old Guard, Infused Sigil

  • Removed Health.
  • Warding Sigil gained 20 Magical Power, Sigil of the Old Guard gained 35 Magical Power, Infused Sigil gained 45 Magical Power.
  • Warding Sigil increased Physical Protection from 10 to 15, Sigil of the Old Guard increased Physical Protection from 40 to 45 and Healing from 1% to 2%, Infused Sigil increased Physical and Magical Protection from 30 to 40.

God Balance

Bellona

  • Decreased Protections from Master of War from 5 to 4 per stack.
  • Decreased Movement Speed from Master of War from 3% to 2.5%.
  • Increased Cooldown on Shield Bash from 14s to 15s.
  • Decreased Damage on Scourge from 90/130/170/210/250 to 80/120/160/200/240.

Neith

  • Increased Cooldown on Back Flip from 15s to 16s.
  • Increased Cooldown on World Weaver from 90s to 100s.
  • Decreased Damage Scaling on World Weaver from 125% to 115%.

Hachiman

  • Decreased Duration on Master of Arms from 8s to 6s.
  • Decreased Damage Scaling on Eagle Eye from 115% to 110%.
  • Increased Cooldown on Eagle Eye from 12/11.5/11/10.5/10s to 14/13/12/11/10s.
  • Decreased Damage on Heavenly Banner from 95/150/205/260/315 to 90/145/200/255/310.

Guan Yu

  • Increased base Physical Protections from 22.4 to 23.8.
  • Decreased Mana Cost on Warrior’s Will from 60/65/70/75/80 to 50 at all ranks.
  • Decreased Mana Cost on Taolu Assault from 60/65/70/75/80 to 55/60/65/70/75.
  • Increased Damage on Cavalry Charge from 75/100/125/150/175 to 85/110/135/160/185.

Serqet

  • Increased base Health from 560 to 580.
  • Increased Health per level from 78 to 80.
  • Increased Range on Ambush from 55 to 65.
  • Increased Damage scaling on Last Breath from 120% to 130%.

Terra

  • Decreased Mana cost on Crushing Earth from 60/65/70/75/80 to 50/55/60/65/70.
  • Increased Heal per tick on Monolith from 2/4/6/8/10 to 4/8/12/16/20.
  • Decreased Cooldown on Earthen Fury from 90s at all ranked to 90/85/80/75/70s.

Merlin

  • Increased Damage on Overload from 10 to 20.
  • Increased Damage Scaling on Overload from 15% to 20%.
  • Decreased Cooldown on Radiate from 16/15/14/13/12s to 14/13.5/13/12.5/12s.
  • Decreased Cooldown on Dragonfire from 18/17/16/15/14s to 16/15.5/15/14.5/14s.

Cu Chulainn

  • Decreased time to transform on Berserk from 3s to 2s.
  • Increased Shield Health on Berserk from 10 + 15 per level to 20 + 20 per level.
  • Increased Root duration on Ground Slam (Barbed Spear) from 1s at all ranked to 1/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4s.
  • Increased Movement Speed on Vent Anger from 5% at all ranks to 5/6/7/8/9%.

Medusa

  • Increased Movement Speed from 365 to 375.
  • Increased Damage on Acid Spray from 100/150/200/250/300 to 105/160/215/270/325.
  • Decreased Cooldown on Acid Spray from 14s to 13s.

Maui

  • Increased Mark range on Manaiakalani from 55 to 70.
  • Removed self Slow on Master Fisherman, and increased Vortex strength by 15%.
  • Decreased Cooldown on Mystical Ulua from 14/13/12/11/10s to 12/11.5/11/10.5/10s.
  • Decreased Cooldown on Landfall from 110/105/100/95/90s to 90s.

Ymir

  • Ymir may now rotate during the prefire of Glacial Strike.

Hera

  • Increased Double hit area on Royal Assault by 50%.

Osiris

  • Spirit Flail can now be cast inside of walls.

Major God Balance

Olorun

  • Increased Critical Strike Chance cap on Touch of Fate from 70% to 100%.
  • Increased damage from Critical Strikes on Touch of Fate from 30% to 40%.
  • Increased Power requirement on Touch of Fate from 10 to 12.
  • Increased damage dealt the longer Focused Light is charged, up to a maximum of 20% increase for being fully charged.
  • Decreased Cooldown on Consecration from 14s to 12s.

Mulan

  • Mulan may now rotate during the prefire of Grapple.
  • Mulan is no longer required to hit an enemy god to use the knock up and projectile portions of Divine Mastery.

Fafnir

  • New effect on Endless Greed: Fafnir gains 1 gold per enemy god hit with his abilities. During his ultimate, Fafnir gains 2 gold per proc of this effect.
  • Fafnir now de-transforms approximately 20% faster, and can now proc Basic Attack item effects with his Dragon Breath.

Ix Chel

  • Great End now heals Ix Chel when hitting enemy gods in addition to healing when hitting allied gods. Ix Chel will only ever heal once per tick, even if she hits both an enemy and an ally.
  • Fixed an issue where Great End was slightly too narrow, so any enemies within the area should now be hit as intended.

Bastet

  • The cat’s Health is decreased from 3 to 2.
  • The cat is now damage and CC immune until it hits an enemy or reaches its max range.
  • The initial hit of Ensnaring Claw now damages and Roots all enemies in a 10 unit radius around it.

Charybdis

  • Increased Tide per Basic Attack hit from 2% to 3% on Raging Tides.
  • Decreased time to full charge on Capsize from 1s to 0.75s.
  • Charybdis now gains CC immunity during the prefire of Whirlpool Form.
  • Decreased Movement Speed on Whirlpool Form from 20% to 0%, and Amplified Movement Speed from 40% to 25%.
  • Improved the firing timing and general feels when using The Maw Hungers.

Item Proc Pass The following gods may now proc Basic Attack item effects on their Basic Attacks at reduced rates:

  • Jormungandr: 50% damage and healing
  • Bake Kujira: 50% damage and healing
  • Charybdis: 33% damage and healing (only limited to her triple fire in her Basic Attack chain, not her first two autos or Spike Shot)
  • Fafnir (Dragon): 25% damage and healing

The following god pets may now proc ability item effects with their pet’s abilities:

  • Single Hits (100% damage and heal): Skadi’s Kaldr Dash, Tiamat’s Summon Beast Charge
  • Multi Hits (75% damage and heal): Artemis’ Boar Charge, Vulcan’s Inferno Cannon Shot
  • AoE Hits (50% damage and heal): Bastet’s Ensnaring Claw Area Hit, Hera’s Argus Divine Shroud Aura and Argus Slam, Nu Wa’s Clay Soldier Dash
