Smite Update 12.74 Patch Notes (Smite Patch 11.1)

Smite update 12.74 (v11.1) is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Smite 12.74 patch notes, the latest update including new god skins, the Divine Legacy event, the Cross-Gen Pass, the Immortal Honor Event, quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and balance changes. Apart from this, Smite version 12.74 also includes bug fixes and adjustments in game modes.

Previously, a big season Smite update 8.9 added Shiva – The Destroyer to the game. Unfortunately, players have been experiencing several issues with the game since the last major patch. Today’s Smite patch 12.74 will fix a few of these issues.

Smite 12.74 Patch Notes (Smite 11.1) – January 23, 2024

  • New God Skins:
    • Firefly Sol, Blobmir Ymir, Blight Hound Anubis, Dawn Spirit Yemoja, The Undead Fenrir, Hellion King Arthur, Cyber Chief Ravana.
  • Divine Legacy Event:
    • A reward system for progress and achievements over each year of SMITE’s history.
    • Specific rewards listed for SMITE 1 and SMITE 2.
  • Cross-Gen Pass: Dawn and Dusk:
    • Different packages available with featured items, including new god skins and other in-game items.
    • Cross-Gen system explained regarding compatibility in SMITE and SMITE 2.
  • Immortal Honor Event:
    • Introduction of the event with the release of 2 new Cross-Gen Skins every patch.
    • Event spans the entire year and is divided into four chapters.
QUALITY OF LIFE
  • Blink and Teleport both now have altered sounds when they are from an enemy action, so that it is easier to differentiate friends from foes in the midst of action!
BUG FIXES
  • UI
      • Fixed an issue where, on PC, the button callout for Pause Vote was incorrectly shown as F6 instead of F10.
    • General Gameplay
      • Conquest
        • Multiple item and ability procs have been fixed so that they cannot proc off of Totems, such as Death’s Toll, Bumba’s Hammer, Nu Wa’s Passive, etc. Feel free to report any others that you may find!
      • Arena
        • Fixed an issue where Horus, in Arena only, could cause allied minions to get stuck in base.
  • Gods
    • Medusa (Dragonshifter)
      • Fixed an issue with the “Enemies Incoming” voice lines.
    • Charon
      • Fixed an issue where Anti-Shield was not applying in the correct way to Charon’s Damnation ability.
    • Thor (Pixel Hammer)
      • Fixed an issue where the SFX of his Berserker Barrage would extend much longer than the duration of the ability.
  • Items
    • Fixed an issue where Enchanted Trinket was providing an incorrect amount of stats.
  • Balance Changes with 11.1 Update:
    • Introduction of Celestial Comets as a new in-lane objective with valuable pickups.
    • Changes to Joust map, Conquest map, and adjustments to various in-game mechanics.
    • Notable changes to camps, bastions, Spirit Totems, Cyclops Rogues, Teleporters, Stygian Beacon, and Fire Giant.
  • XP and Gold Shifts:
    • Adjustments to XP and Gold values for various in-game elements.
  • Ranked Modes Update:
    • All 3 ranked modes now hard reset for Year 11, and Bake-Kujira is available in all 3 ranked modes.
  • Duel Mode Changes:
    • Banning and unbanning of gods based on their performance in the previous patch.
  • Removal of Recipe System:
    • Recipes removed; the system is replaced with new passive shards, relic quests, and relic upgrades.
  • Shard and Relic Changes:
    • Removal of two underused shards and addition of three new passive shards.
    • Relics can now be upgraded for free by completing quests, and relic choices are streamlined.
  • Removal and Repurposing of Relics:
    • Removal of Belt of Frenzy and Cursed Ankh, and repurposing of their effects onto other relics.
    • New relic introduced: Aegis Amulet.
  • Summary of System Changes:
    • Removal of the Recipe system, introduction of new passive shards, relic quests, and changes to relic mechanics.
