Smite Update 10.73(v5.11) Patch Notes for PS4 and Xbox One


Smite update 10.73 (v5.11) is now rolling out for players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the official Smite 10.73 patch notes, the new update has added a new god – Baron Samedi, new god skins as well as bug fixes and gameplay improvements. Smite patch 10.73 also includes stability and performance improvements.

Previously, a major update v5.10 was released with new god skins, Medusa’s Deathmatch, and other fixes. However, since the release of this patch, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Smite version 10.73 is expected to fix all these issues.

Baron Samedi God of Life and Death

Passive – Hysteria

Baron shares Baron’s Brew, a powerful restorative chalice, with his allies from the Item Shop. Enemies hit by Baron will have Hysteria applied to them. Baron’s abilities interact with Hysteria to provide bonus effects. Targets at Max Hysteria take 25% additional damage from Baron Samedi.


Baron’s Brew:
Costs 150g
Heals 140 Health and 100 Mana over 20 seconds
3 Charge Chalice style consumable

Baron applies 2 Hysteria per Basic Attack
Each Ability applies a unique amount of Hysteria
All of his Abilities have a new effect on enemies with 30 Hysteria
All of his Abilities deal more damage if the target has 70 (max) Hysteria


Vivid Gaze

Baron Samedi animates two skulls, both which briefly charge before firing beams of voodoo magic that damages enemies. The beams meet at a crossroads of Baron Samedi’s choosing. Enemies hit by both beams take 15% damage on the second hit.

If the enemy god hit is above 30 Hysteria, their Physical Power, Magical Power, and Attack Speed are reduced

Consign Spirits

Baron Samedi guides restless spirits to the ground and buries them. After a brief delay the ground erupts, damaging enemies standing in the area. If an enemy god is hit, friendly spirits fly the from the area and heal allies near the explosion or by Baron Samedi.

If the enemy god hit is above 30 Hysteria the friendly spirit cleanses slows, makes allies immune to slows, and increases their Movement Speed.

Flat Heal 40/65/90/115/140 + 10% of your Magical Power
Missing Health Heal: 15%
Movement Speed Increase: 20/25/30/35/40%

Wrap It Up

Baron Samedi throws his snake forward, wrapping any enemy god hit and dealing damage every .5s for 4s and slowing them until they are rooted.

If a god hit is above 30 Hysteria, the snake will also lash out at nearby enemy gods who stand too close after 1s. Enemies hit by this are injected with venom that slows them until they are rooted and deals the same damage but instantly rather than over 4s.

Life of the Party

Baron Samedi pulls the souls of the living towards his Coffin, becoming CC Immune and taking 50% reduced damage. Enemy gods within range are pulled towards the Coffin and take damage every .33s. When an enemy god gets too close to the coffin their soul is ripped out, causing them to be stunned, take a large amount of damage based on their total health and gain max Hysteria. This ability persists for 3.5s or until an enemy god is pulled to the coffin.

If targets being pulled are above 30 Hysteria, the pull strength is increased on them.

BUG FIXES in Smite patch 10.73 (v5.11)

  • Brimstone Demon Thor Ultimate Audio Volume has been Increased
  • All Thor skins (including default) have had an audio pass to make sure the Ultimate audio is equal volume and heard at equal range
  • All Ra skins (including default) have had an audio pass to make sure the Ultimate audio is equal volume and heard at equal range
  • Kitsune, Kage, Zenko and Final Fusion Ratatoskr Ultimate Audio Volume has been Increased
  • Revenant Achilles Ultimate Audio Volume has been Increased
  • All Kukulkan skins (including default) have had an audio pass to make sure the Whirlwind audio is equal volume and heard at equal range

Medusa’s Deathmatch

  • Selling the evolved version of this item will now remove shield stacks from you
  • Fixed an issue where pushing/grabbing an enemy who was recently hit by an Artemis trap would cause them to be pulled quickly back to the trap
  • Fixed an issue where Vulcan’s inferno cannon would be invisible on the Joust map while playing in Spanish or Portuguese language

  • This ability no longer disarms enemies

  • Increased Attack Speed Buff from 10/15/20/25/30% to 10/17.5/25/32.5/40%
  • Increased Movement Speed Buff from 5/10/15/20/25% to 10/15/20/25/30%

  • Decreased Magical Power Scaling of the Heal from 15% per tick 12.5% per tick (90% total to 75%)

  • Enemies hit by the last tick of the ultimate landing will be knocked up.
    • Knockup is a straight up and low height

  • Increased strafe speed on Suku by changing Hard Cap on movement speed from 175 to 225
    • Updated ability description to show this is a speed cap not percent reduction of speed

  • Decreased Cooldown from 90s to 90/85/80/75/70s

  • Increased Radius from 30 to 40

  • Khepri Now gains 10/15/20/25/30 Magical and Physical Protections while holding an enemy God he hit with Abduct

  • Damage required to stack is now counted post-mitigation
  • Adjusted buff bar icons to show difference between damage counter stacks and Physical Power buff stacks

  • Increased Cooldown from 90s to 110s
