Skate update 1.000.023 (v0.31.8) is available to download on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch. According to Skate version 1.21 patch notes, the latest update introduces Fingerflip tricks, Gameplay Density controls, enhanced steering and camera behavior, expanded pedestrian interactions, improved Throwdowns and Tasks. Apart from this, Skate patch 1.000.023 also includes fixes for Reverts, grinds, loading issues, progression bugs, and camera stability.

New Features
General
- Added a Gameplay Density setting to control the number of simulated and rendered skaters, pedestrians, and vehicles.
- Higher density settings increase CPU and GPU usage.
Gameplay
- Added 30 Fingerflip trick variations.
- Added a new Camera Follow Behavior option with Loose and Tight settings.
- Loose mode follows the skater’s head during turns for smoother camera movement.
- Tight mode keeps the camera closely aligned with the skateboard during turns.
Audio
- Added more than 5,000 lines of pedestrian voice dialogue.
- Pedestrians now react more often to player actions and environmental events.

- HUD layout selection does not function correctly in Windowed mode.
- Some Scavenger Hunt mission tracking issues remain.
- Fingerflips are missing Switch and Fakie tags in Chapter 1.
- World Traffic toggling can cause invisible vehicles.
- Party member names may display incorrectly after Co-op Challenge celebrations.
- Spectating controls may not cycle through all available players.
- UI-related memory leak crashes remain under investigation.
- The game may crash when opening the Tattoos store category.
