Skate update 1.000.008 (0.28) is available to download on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch. According to Skate version 1.000.008 patch notes, the latest update fixes an issue where players were connecting to game servers that were performing poorly and causing crashing and login queue to trigger. Apart from this, Skate patch 1.000.008 also fixes progression and customization issues.

- Quick Drops – Items are now visible and placeable.
- Grind Exit Bug – Rare issue where skater disappeared is fixed.
- Pad Hopper Challenge – Challenge restored after prop fix.
Visual & UI Fixes
- RIP Card Customization Flicker – Asset flickering between old and new is fixed.
- San Van List Preview – Black screen and soft lock issue resolved.
Known Issues Still Under Investigation
- Replay Editor Export Stuttering – Team is working on a fix.
- Financial Neighborhood Unlock – Criteria not showing; workaround is to complete more Challenges.
- Historic Neighborhood Unlock – Criteria not showing; workaround is to complete more Challenges.
- Connection Error (ERROR 852146987) – Ongoing issue; troubleshooting includes disabling VPN and checking EA App online mode.
