SF6 Update 1.08 Patch Notes (Version 1.008)

Capcom releases SF6 update 1.08 for PS4, PS5(version 1.008), PC, and Xbox consoles. Accroding to the official SF6 1.08 patch notes, the update introduces the “Happy Holidays” Fighting Pass, new outfit options, and enhanced customization features in the Goods Shop. Apart from this, SF6 version 1.08 (1.008.000) also includes improved battle settings, ranking adjustments, and expanded World Tour perks, alongside general updates, bug fixes, and new Battle Hub servers, ensuring a more personalized and efficient gaming experience.

Recently, Street Fighter 6 update 1.03 added changes to the Assist Button behavior affecting all fighters, and specific fixes for characters Blanka, Kimberly, and Rashid. Unfortunetly, since the release, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s SF6 patch 1.08 will fix a few of these issues.

Goods Shop Updates

  • New Fighting Pass: “Happy Holidays” edition now available.
  • New Customization: Cartoonish Challenge theme.
  • New Outfits:
    • Outfit 3 for the original 18 characters.
    • Outfit 3 for Year 1 characters coming with Akuma’s release.

Fighting Ground Enhancements

  • Battle Settings Additions:
    • Link to Outfit Feature: Challenge illustrations now reflect Outfit 2 or 3.
    • Opponent Outfit Settings: Customize opponents’ outfits and colors in online matches (only visible to you).
  • Ranking Update: Maximum initial rank raised from Diamond 1 to Diamond 5.
  • Live Commentary: New lines and patterns added.

Battle Adjustments

  • Behavior Corrections: Visit the provided link for detailed changes.

Replay and Profile Updates

  • Replay Warning: Can’t play old version replays.
  • Fighter Profile: Previous version history not displayed.

Battle Hub Changes

  • Server Adjustments: Number of servers modified.
  • New Intermediate Server: For beginners and intermediate players.
  • Tournament Grouping: More specific rank-based tournaments.
  • New Events: NERDS and Baki series collaborations, among others.

World Tour Modifications

  • Favorite Gear: Increased registration limit to 100.
  • Perk Adjustments:
    • Fatal Counter: Reduced damage boost, can’t stack effects.
    • Cross Counter: Reduced damage boost.
    • Flash: Enhanced damage boost based on gauge use.

General Updates

  • Disconnect Info: View opponent’s details post-disconnect.
  • Privacy Setting: Set Avatar Recipe Sharing to “Private”.
  • Tournament Entry: Clearer date and time display.
  • Score Boost Notice: Enhanced visibility in Extreme Battles.

  • Replay Frame Values: Corrected display issues.
  • Custom Room Team Battles: Fixed victory animation skip issue.
  • Miscellaneous Fixes: Various other bugs addressed.
